Comments
edit- Helpful to include the lead.
- Peterson's comments should be chronologically, at bottom of overview section, not on top. Makes sense and avoids unnecessary controversy.
- Also just not clear how much if any Palestinian architecture there is post-1948 and where - and to what extent it is inhibited by Israeli restrictions. That deserves more space and could go in as the end part of the lead. CarolMooreDC (talk) 14:27, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks CarolmooreDC. I will move the comments as suggested. In the external links section, I am collecting refs on Architecture today that will help in crafting a section on that. I still have not written the lead because of that. But your comments are very helpful. Thanks again for taking the time to do that. Tiamuttalk 14:34, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Sources to incorporate
edit- The object of memory: Arab and Jew narrate the Palestinian village by Susan Slyomovics
- Ancient building in South Syria and Palestine, Volume 1
- Same book, but covering Assyrian, Babylonian and Persian periods
- Classical marble: geochemistry, technology, trade - chapter covering the Roman period in Palestine
- Through the ages in Palestinian archaeology: an introductory handbook - lots of info from diffferent periods
Move to main-space
edit@Huldra: What's holding back moving this article to mainspace? It's certainly not complete, but definitely enough for a DYK. Also, moving it to mainspace might attract more activity here. I might have some sources, namely Suad Amiry's work, for this article that I'll look into later. --Al Ameer (talk) 06:43, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Al Ameer son: well, this was mostly Tiamut´s project; I haven't really worked that much on it. I was hoping she would return, soon....She has been on a wiki-break a long time, though; if you feel like taking it into mainspace presently; I would say: go for it. - @Al Ameer son, Huldra, and Tiamut: I'll do it now. Onceinawhile (talk) 15:20, 1 September 2017 (UTC)
Hi guys, Just dropped in to say I am so happy to see this in mainspace. I wish I had the time, focus & access to the resources needed to fill it in more but I don’t right now. Still so glad it did not all go to waste. Miss you. Tiamuttalk|

What this article is about
editI could not understand the topic. Is this article parallel to Architecture of Israel and Architecture of Lebanon?GreyShark (dibra) 11:45, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
- The confusion starts from the very first sentence. Is it about historical Palestine, aka on Wiki as Palestine (region), or the not-fully-there-yet but nice-sounding State of Palestine? The first would massively overlap with Architecture of Israel. Ah, and W Jordan. And South Lebanon. Please make up your minds and coordinate with others.
- Others... Ouch... Arminden (talk) 17:45, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
