Removal of parts
editRedundancy and useless trivia are necessary reasons to warrant removal of information. And, opposing parties are asked to kindly clarify their stand on the issue.~ Winged BladesGodric 12:21, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
- There is no useless trivia in the soundtrack section! First read it carefully! Just singles' names and their release dates are mentioned. Harsh Rathod Poke me! 17:08, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
- Anybody going through the table can vet the statement--
The album is a compilation of six tracks composed by Badshah, Guru Randhawa and Amit Trivedi while lyrics are penned by Badshah, Guru Randhawa, Amitabh Bhattacharya, Divine and Dhaval Parab.
The table presents the same information in a more compact and soothing manner to the readers. That explains the redundancy.~ Winged BladesGodric 09:31, 30 March 2018 (UTC) - And, I will be semi-randomly requesting some other users to know their views on the usage of release dates of each song, in the section.~ Winged BladesGodric 09:31, 30 March 2018 (UTC)

- The word compilation signifies that some of the tracks were released before the album. Where did you semi-randomly request other users? Provide me with link. Harsh Rathod Poke me! 11:53, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
- This's getting into WP:CIR territory and your reply doesn't make any minimal sense, at least to me.Also, please check the definition of will.~ Winged BladesGodric 12:10, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Winged Blades of Godric: No problem, I will write an essay on how to write the soundtrack section of a film article. Will require six months work for quality and fact checking. Can you please read the Singles section of the Studio Album articles of Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, etc, etc. so that you can get a little grasp of the style. I'm simply following that writing style using the words that I never saw on any Indian film articles' Soundtrack section before. These words are: single, compilation, track, etc, etc. Till now, they have been using just these two words: song and music. What is meant by the term music? This word is ambiguous because it may refer to background score and song composition, both. Also some news articles use the word launch instead of release. For instance, Theher Ja was launched on xyz date. This makes me wonder, where did they actually launched the song from Earth. To Mars or to Moon? Harsh Rathod Poke me! 17:50, 30 March 2018 (UTC)

Infobox edits
edit- @Harshrathod50 and Winged Blades of Godric: There's a disagreement about the use of the {{ubl}} template in the infobox that's turned into an edit war. The {{infobox film}} documentation specifically calls out using plainlist (of which ubl is a derivative) when there are multiple entries in the list. This is for accessibility reasons. See the documentation on {{plainlist}} for reasons on that. Ravensfire (talk) 14:19, 12 April 2018 (UTC)
- Here's a couple of recent film articles that have FA status - A Cure for Pokeritis, Air Mata Iboe, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Dredd, Waiting (2015 film). All of these have at least one parameter in the infobox with 2 entries and all of them use either plainlist or ubl template, not HTML. FA articles are the best examples of how we should write articles. I personally prefer the ubl template as it's easier to use than plainlist, but we should be using ubl template for parameters with multiple (ie, more than one) pieces of information. - I too use {{ubl}} because it is easier than {{plainlist}}. HTML formatting is generally discouraged, for instance the project prefers {{quote}} instead of <blockquote>. As to why we prefer templates, I'm not certain, but I'd imagine that wiki-friendly formatting allows for more refined tweaks in our software. Those sorts of questions could be answered by folks at WP:VPT. Anyway, we should be sticking with what the community prefers. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:03, 12 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Ravensfire: I agree with your use of ubl template. Harsh Rathod Poke me! 11:07, 13 April 2018 (UTC)
