Source dump
editA dump of sources yet unused (or under-utilized) in the article. Please feel free to add to this. – SD0001 (talk) 13:02, 8 September 2020 (UTC)
- Sinha 2007 - modern history & Operation Flood (chap. 2), Policies & pricing (sec 4.2), Trade (sec 4.3) used for operation flood, but not for the other topics
- USDA report on cheese in India used somewhat, could still add bits though
- Kannan & Birthal 2010 (jstor) - trade turns out there's nothing much to add from here (09:44, 27 September 2020 (UTC))
- I'd add Venkatasubramanian, V.; Singh, A. K.; Rao, S. V. N. (2003). Dairy Development in India: An Appraisal of Challenges and Achievements. New Delhi: Concept Publishing Company. ISBN 978-81-8069-044-0. Used it to get some basic info on Operation Flood and it looks like it has a lot more. Downside is I can't find a full version online. - Good one! I see chapter 2 has a review on cross-breeding programmes to increase yield, which isn't presently covered but probably should be covered. – SD0001 (talk) 17:24, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
Congrats!
edit@SD0001, Zindor, and Naushervan: Well done, all—you now have a GA to add to your list of wiki-chievements. Special kudos to SD0001, who did the lion's share of the work. Have a glass of milk to celebrate :) AleatoryPonderings (talk) 05:43, 27 September 2020 (UTC)

- Congratulations! I barely contributed anything - kudos to you all for the hard work. -- Naushervan (talk) 15:06, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
- @SD0001, AleatoryPonderings, Naushervan, and Zindor: Hats off to all of you! From a 20 something worded prose nominated for deletion to a GA and possibly considering a FA under a month. Wonderful work on an important and much needed article. Thanks. Roller26 (talk) 13:49, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
Art
editA thought just crossed my mind about art, and whether dairy features in any significant musical, theatric or graphical art works in India. I haven't done any research yet, but there could be enough non-trivial content for a subsection about art within the culture section. Zindor (talk) 16:57, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
