Narrator of Earth

The official press release (from which most of the information in this article appears to have been taken) states that James Earl Jones will be the narrator; however, the "Synopsis" section of the official film site credits Patrick Stewart, whose voice can be heard in trailers and film clips. Since these conflicting facts both come from the same primary source, how do we resolve this question? Vogelfrei (talk) 22:25, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

The Crimson Wing: Mystery of the Flamingos

Has this been released? It looks like it may have been shown in some European countries (France) already, obviously not in the US\UK yet. Does anyone know if those European releases were by Disney or Disneynature or by another distributor? SWatsi (talk) 15:58, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

A new page has been started for this at The Crimson Wing: Mystery of the Flamingos now that there are references to its release in English speaking territories (released today in UK and previously in NZ). Planet Earth Footage

full logo

Full logo violates Wikipedia:NFCC#3 as there is already a Disneynature logo with in the article that has a "lessor" trademark value. Spshu (talk) 17:42, 16 November 2012 (UTC)

Persistent reverts

I am coming to the talkpage as there are repeated, unnecessary reverts to edits on this article. I have several times added additional films that were co-produced by the studio, and added them with their sources. They continue to be reverted, simply based on....preference perhaps(?). I had attempted resolving the situation in the comments, but it has become apparent that that is not the case. The discussion here is to include additional films that were co-productions of Disneynature. What is the valid/constructive reason to exclude these?--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 05:39, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

They were necessary reverts as the sources were weak. You were adding them back basis on your preference. Le Premier Cri was released (October 31, 2007) before the announced founding of Disneynature (April 21, 2008). Plus, you were removing a subsection that discribed a release that does not have its own article. Spshu (talk) 20:33, 14 September 2019 (UTC)

Dolphins film

Given that the dolphin movie was released in 2018 in France, what sense does it make that the user Spshu continues to roll back continuously? Just read the wikipedia page of the film: -https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolphin_Reef_(film)

Because you are not reading the table nor the Dolphin Reef (film) article. The French, Blue, and US version, Dolphin Reef, are BOTH in the table. You are changing the US version to the French version release. Your continual introduction that the Dolphin Reef have the same release information as Blue. Maybe you don't know how the world of film translations works. Changing the title from French to English does not mean that the film is another. If Paramount (for example) change the name of the film "the godfather" for commercial reasons it does not mean that it becomes a 2020 film. Therefore the film remains from 2018 and the name change following the release in the USA means absolutely nothing, given that the film remains that. When it comes out in Kenya in 2 years time, will you insert that it is a 2022 film with the title in native language? It seems increasingly clear to me that you have not only never seen the film in question, but that you have not even read the page that I have linked to you over and over again. Look, just look at the poster, title and date entered in that entry at a glance. I await the opinions of other users and if I have no feedback, I will restore the item by making it uniform with the existing page. I recommend to be less agitated and to accept corrections to your mistakes, especially if you have several notices of inappropriate changes on your talk page. I say it without any controversy. No, but you changed the released of "Dolphin Tale" to being the French language release while "Blue" is the French language release. Some how Dolphin Reef was released in 2018 in France when it is the EN/US version? The field name is "market" not "release country". Market being the market that DisneyNature has release rights for as in some cases the film was distributed by other companies thus not considered a DisneyNature film. You are not editing according to what you state above. Second, nature films don't necessarily follow a generally straight translation like The Godfather might.

Third, "It seems increasingly clear ..., but that you have not even read the page that I have linked to you over and over again." Think again, making assumptions are clear ways to create "agitated" editors. Stop agitating other editors then they won't be agitated. Spshu (talk) 15:30, 13 February 2020 (UTC)

== Netflix Original? There has to be a better way to word the Note B that claims China Expedition is a Netflix original documentary. It was a direct to video film they streamed first, but it's now on Disney+. Netflix didn't provide any money and was not part of the production. And outside the USA it was on Disney+ 2 years earlier because it wasn't on Netflix except in USA.
