Francis Drake as portrayed in the film
editDuring the final battle with the Spanish, a character called "Drake" --almost certainly intended to be Francis Drake-- appears in several scenes, apparently in a command role of the English fleet. Despite having several lines of dialogue, the role does not appear in the film credits, and the actor is not identified. The Curtis Brown talent agency CV for actor Malcolm Storry claims he played the role, which seems authoritative enough that I'm adding it to this page. But does anyone have any further information about this? It would be nice to have something from the production company backing this up, and moreso it would be valuable to include some information on why this small but important part went uncredited.
