Influenced by Ali: Fear Eats the Soul
edit- I read that Haynes was also influenced by Fassbinder's film "Ali: Fear Eats The Soul" (emphasis on alienation and awkwardness). I think that should be mentioned.Demoman87 (talk) 16:50, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
- I added a paragraph about it.Demoman87 (talk) 17:09, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Executive Producers Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney
editIt seems noteworthy to me to mention that Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney were Exec producers on this film... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.51.218.38 (talk) 15:57, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Metaphor
edit- There should really be a short discussion involving the use of various colors as symbols in the movie LaVieEntiere 04:33, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
I did a bunch of edits and I talked a little about how the color green is used.
Awards list for integration
editI'm in the process of migrating a huge chunk of awards data from the Christine Vachon article into the relevant articles for each film. In this case, there's already a quite well-formatted list of the major awards, so I'm parking the migrating list here until I or someone else get time to go through it and reformat relevant examples to match what's in the article already. Quite possibly a lot of them are irrelevant; just being cautious!

Creation of a Themes and Analysis section
editHello all! I'm currently enrolled in a WikiEd course at my college where for my final project of the semester I'm responsible for contributing to a Wikipedia article, and have decided to choose Far From Heaven as the article I'd like to improve. I've been a fan of this film for as long as I can remember, and I thought I might spruce things up a bit in the style section to include a bit more on the different themes in the film and their analysis by noted film theorists and academics in the field. I've taken the liberty of rearranging the sections quite a lot so if there is anything in the way of suggestions or ideas to better improve upon my contributions please feel free to voice them! This will be my first major edit of a wikipedia article since I joined the community so feel free to point out or change anything that could be better suited for wikipedia.
Thanks!
