Lead

edit
  • Everything looks good, I would only suggest to add a sentence or two about the aftermath.
    • Done.

Summary

edit
  • Add a note explaining that Publius is a pseudonym used by James Madison, Alexander Hamilton and John Jay.
    • It already says that Publius is the pseudonym used to write the Federalist Papers. A general description of Publius belongs on the main Federalist Papers article.
  • How many states existed at the time of writing? Maybe clarify that if relevant.
    • Not sure if it's relevant, the point is that there are several that could come into conflict with one another.
  • A standing army for each state? If so clarify that, or put in the plural as you do in the next phrase.
    • Clarified in each case whether it's a national army or state armies.
  • Comma after "invaded" and before "which". Likewise, when describing the army of a nation infrequently invaded.
    • Added.

Background and publication

edit
  • Here you link standing army but the first instance is in the "Summary" section.
    • Fixed.

Analysis

edit

Standing army

edit
  • The correlation is positive or negative?
    • Specified an "increase".
  • Why did the modern advancements in industry made it difficult for men to give up their occupations to go to war?
    • Switched to "obligations in industry".
  • "Conversely, he acknowledged that this expansion of industry is what allowed advancements in warfare to develop", why is that so?
    • Specified "technological advancements".
  • Comma after "describe it".
    • Not sure what this is referring to.

Geographical advantage

edit
  • Everything seems good here.

Aftermath

edit
  • Is valor referencing virtue ethics? If so a wikilink would be useful. (optional)
    • I don't believe it is.
