Accuracy
editI noticed that 1973 was missing so I went to the official site and saw that it was anurag... but that is listed as 1974 for us. Some things are wrong and we need to check this whole list. gren グレン 20:09, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
I wasn't sure if that site was necessarily always right? If it is the official site (like our filmfare awards article says) then why is it to out of date, only having until the 2004 awards. http://www.imdb.com/Sections/Awards/Filmfare_Awards/ IMDb has a list that puts anurag in 1974 but it puts Be-Imaan in the 1973 awards... basically it says that everything we have is one year off. I suppose our best bet is the filmfare site... but, I'm not sure. gren グレン 20:17, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Merger proposal
editI propose that Filmfare Best Film of 50 Years be merged into Filmfare Awards. As the name suggests, the Filmfare Best film of 50 years will not be given for 42 more years. There exists no other extra material in the article, and this award can be prominently mentioned in either Filmfare Awards or Filmfare Award for Best Film. I don't think there is anything more to say about the Best film of 50 years award itself, so I think its better merged. Lynch7 14:39, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
- I think it would be better in Filmfare Awards#History, but the source needs to be carried over. BollyJeff || talk 14:52, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
- I agree. Proposal edited. Lynch7 15:18, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
- Agree with Filmfare Awards#History. -Animeshkulkarni (talk) 15:38, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
Years don't match
editThe Filmfare awards are awarded for films released in the previous year. For example the ceremony held this year, on Jan 15, 2016 was the 61st Filmfare Awards 2015, and not Filmfare Awards 2016 as mentioned in the article.Smi.hegde (talk) 08:34, 1 August 2016 (UTC)
