Tobacco brand placement?
editDid the tobacco company of a similar name have any influence on making sure this move was not popular? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ChrisOMitchell (talk • contribs) 03:35, 22 January 2012 (UTC)
Some Thai people want to know about that too. "Is this movie title/name a brand placement of that tobacco company?" (Reference = http://www.manager.co.th/QOL/ViewNews.aspx?NewsID=9530000074988 (in Thai)) --Love Krittaya (talk) 19:13, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
- Phillip Morris is the real name of a real person for which this movie is named. As for whether the name coincidence influenced the movie's performance, I couldn't say, but if there's any reliable sources that discuss the matter it might be worth mentioning in the article. Cast
editI'm going to remove the link to Steven Jay Russell on Phillip Morris's name. It doesn't link to an article about him, and the link to Steven Jay Russell is on the line directly above this one. KatCheez 18:22, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
