Non primary source needed tag

edit

I have removed the tag according to WP:Primary which states "A primary source may be used on Wikipedia only to make straightforward, descriptive statements of facts that can be verified by any educated person with access to the primary source but without further, specialized knowledge." Rejoy2003(talk) 06:36, 22 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Per WP:BLPPRIMARY: Do not use trial transcripts and other court records, or other public documents, to support assertions about a living person. Do not use public records that include personal details, such as date of birth, home value, traffic citations, vehicle registrations, and home or business addresses.
This implies that we must actually remove the primary source of the government website, and remove the information associated with it. SerChevalerie (talk) 12:50, 22 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
I'll keep the information and the source but leave the tag until we find some reliable secondary sources for the information. SerChevalerie (talk) 06:20, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Removed poorly-sourced content

edit

I've just removed a few sentences as they were poorly sourced. I mentioned the reasons briefly in the edit summary, but here's the expanded reasoning:

  • Per WP:BLPSELFPUB and WP:ABOUTSELF, we can use social media to support some claims, but never when it involves third parties.
  • I could not verify the details about her child at the given source, either the current page or the archived page.
  • The details about the subject's husband are WP:UNDUE and out of scope for this article. If he is independently notable, they belong in an article about him.

I hope this helps! Woodroar (talk) 14:18, 25 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
