Talk:Jony Ive

It's wrong to predict the future BUT...

It is no doubt that his involvement/disinvolvement will soon be a huge topic on the media. As the chief designer of Apple Inc, what kind of role did he have in these crimes? That really fascinates me.

The fact of the matter is that he designed these absolutely stunning products, Tim took it and manipulated certain parts, which then caused serious consequences to human health which Tim is still yet to stop/feel guilt at all. But he designed them! Why wouldn't Jony want his products to work as designed? After all, products are like your children that you gave birth to. What is the alternative story? I mean there aren't that many possibilities here! Did he trust everybody so much so that he never even touched and tested a retail modeled iPhone? I wonder, I really do.

This isn't just a question that gets my head twirling, Law Enforcement will have to figure out each person's role in these crimes. There's not doubt at this point that Tim Cook will get about 200 years in prison. You look at Bernard Maddoff, he committed only financial crimes with a smaller dollar amount and he got more than 100. After all, the crimes Timothy Donald committed are indeed violent. But it's still important to figure out who to prosecute and who not to. Saying he didn't know about the crimes is kind of hard to believe given that I out of all have sent the info on what the company has been doing right to him. If he knew, why didn't he try everything to stop them? Does he not love his designs enough? If so, why? If he didn't know, though that's a small possibility given I sent him enough info to make sure he realizes what's going on, why would such a high official at Apple not know what the company has been doing?

One way or another, he was the guy that ultimately forced Scott Forstall outta the company, and now half a decade later he's an active part of one of the best-known criminal syndicates of the century I bet, and he's acting as if nothing is happening? He should have known by now and should have done something. Problem is it is clear he's not stopped them.

None of this makes sense to me. I lay this message down here for future biographers, we have to do him justice and we need to figure out how much a role and what kind of role he's had in these crimes. That's the job of the law enforcement for sure, but the emotional part/stories (feelings, motives) would be something future biographers/reporters would definitely wanna figure out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.112.240.232 (talk) 16:41, 5 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

"Form follows Function" does not originate with the Bauhaus. It is a direct quote from Chicago architect Louis Sullivan's writing's circa the 1890s — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.200.213.162 (talk) 14:20, 10 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

BBC: King Charles coronation logo created by iPhone designer

Re: ce (Revision of 2023-02-17), the reference article does not mention "Ive's firm LoveFrom". While it may be the case that the work was a group effort, the BBC article only mentions Ive. I propose reverting to previous wording until a better source for the claim is found. -- Cl3phact0 (talk) 05:42, 13 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

no mention of his Gold Blue Peter badge, YouTube video is really good. He was really chuffed to get it and there's very few that have been awarded. please add it in for completeness. Bob000anderson (talk) 13:13, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not done. YouTube is not a reliable source. Please provide a reliable source for what you want to be included. GSK (talkedits) 13:29, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
I would think that this BBC source do the trick, no? -- Cl3phact0 (talk) 15:08, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
It would. But it was Bob000anderson (talk · contribs)'s responsibility to provide it, not my responsibility to go looking for it. That's why I initially indicated the edit would not be completed. GSK (talkedits) 17:41, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Noted. Cheers, Cl3phact0 (talk) 22:46, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
