- Comment: Drive-by nom. Appears to meet minimum standards, will go through with a fine-toothed comb when I don't have a 7-day clock ticking. The bit of ALT0 after the dash probably deserves WP:DYKTRIMming but I see no harm in adding it post hoc for the promoter's consideration.

Article is new enough, long enough, well sourced and neutral. Earwig picked up one phrase, which I think should be re-written: "...individuals with no known connection to Lebron separately tried to register demure-related trademarks ..." which is in the Indpendent source. I can't tell for sure, because TMZ's legal reporting is (understandably) shit and Today and PinkNews don't do much to clarify, but it sure looks to me like someone else applied for the trademark first, and Lebron assumed that meant they'd get it. Two days later, they realized they could file as well and contest it, and they seem to think (judging from the Today article) that they'll get the trademark. So, the hook doesn't really check out – it was a two-day story implied to have resolved in her favor. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 07:47, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
