General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
  • Cited:
  • Interesting:
QPQ: Done.

Overall:   Article is new enough, long enough, well sourced and neutral. Earwig picked up one phrase, which I think should be re-written: "...individuals with no known connection to Lebron separately tried to register demure-related trademarks ..." which is in the Indpendent source. Hook is cited and interesting. QPQ is done. I like the snappy ALT1. Once the phrase is re-written, should be good to go. Lajmmoore (talk) 11:44, 28 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Lajmmoore: I believe I have satisfied your concerns.--Launchballer 12:23, 28 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
 Y Perfect Launchballer, thank you so much Lajmmoore (talk) 13:26, 28 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Promoters: This is currently the oldest Approved nomination by about four days. What else do I have to do to get this promoted?--Launchballer 11:29, 5 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Launchballer, Willthacheerleader18, and Rjjiii:   I can't tell for sure, because TMZ's legal reporting is (understandably) shit and Today and PinkNews don't do much to clarify, but it sure looks to me like someone else applied for the trademark first, and Lebron assumed that meant they'd get it. Two days later, they realized they could file as well and contest it, and they seem to think (judging from the Today article) that they'll get the trademark. So, the hook doesn't really check out – it was a two-day story implied to have resolved in her favor. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 07:47, 7 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Originally, the hook ended at "transition". What is your objection to running the first 'half' of ALT0?--Launchballer 09:49, 7 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Launchballer - I think there's a parallel discussion about what to run in the prep queue, see here - it might be easier to take your suggestion over there? Lajmmoore (talk) 17:38, 7 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
USPTO: Not yet examined by an attorney. That's my bad; I just took the PinkNews source at their word. No objections to ALT1 or ALT0 ending at "transition." Rjjiii (talk) 02:01, 8 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Theleekycauldron, Lajmmoore, and Rjjiii: What else do I have do to get this approved?--Launchballer 08:59, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Would be happy with ALT0, as long as the last bit is cut off :) theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 09:06, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
For PSHAW then: ALT0a: ... that following the success of Jools Lebron's "demure" videos, she stated that she was able to use the proceeds to pay for her gender transition?--Launchballer 09:07, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
