Lists

Are the long lists on this page really necessary? Most of the individuals listed do not have their own Wikipedia page and for some reason they are listed in bold. I was going to take the time to go ahead and remove all of the unnecessary bold text but it might be worth it to just remove the lists themselves as they are overwhelming and unnecessary. Let me know what you think. If we can reach a general consensus on this issue, I will go ahead and remove the content. Meatsgains (talk) 05:35, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

I agree - the crew list, for example, is excessively detailed and unreferenced and can be completely removed. We should only add things which a layman wants to know getting into unnecessary details complicate the issue..Vaibhav.times (talk) 10:20, 13 February 2014 (UTC)

@Ruby Murray:Sorry what do u mean by spoke to official people, i said i checked with them about the cast and other details, nothing that i am working on their behalf or representing them here. I added them back after cleaning up the whole movie page ..If you can see that i clean up the whole movie page and put relevant stuff under different sub heads. In case you think i have done something wrong you can remove it and everyone is free to edit it back as per general consensus. I feel that you have taken this page as personal and hell bound on deleting each and everything and edit it as per your wish. @Ruby Murray:Yes i said that but does that mean i will represent them? , i am a journalist have years of experience writing for Movies and other stuff. As per my knowledge taking consent/ seeking information from official people is the way to be more accurate with the records. As i have already told you that you are far more experienced than me and have full authority to do anything and even delete all irrelevant stuff. I didn't accuse you of anything. I asked you why you wrote twice that the list should be completely removed, and then suddenly changed your mind and restored it all, after speaking offline with employees of the company. I will once again remove the 'Crew' list as it does not belong. I discussed this with Vaibhav.times on my talk page and the user did not respond. First off, the 'Crew' list doesn't include sources from which the information was pulled from. Second, because there are no sources to support it, it lacks legitimacy.

We can get a better understanding of whether or not the list should be included by looking at other similar films. Below is a list of the top 10 Bollywood films of 2014. Not one of the pages from that list below includes a 'Crew' section.

• Gunday
• Yaariyan (2014 film)
• Dedh Ishqiya
• Hasee Toh Phasee
• Sholay
• Mr Joe B. Carvalho
• One by Two
• Karle Pyaar Karle
• Miss Lovely
• Jai Ho (film)

Synopsis

how this is incoherent marketing fluff? can you elaborate, it is suppose to be synopsis on the movie "Set in the backdrop of the ancient, Kamasutra 3D is the journey of a soulful love embodied with betrayal and war. It weaves the transformative changes in body, mind and soul by the forbidden world of sexual love and sensuality.", sorry i guess you cleared my thoughts i used to think them synopsis , but they are actually "incoherent marketing fluff". You haven't offended me. But it's a verbatim quote of the company's own senseless marketing fluff, currently spammed all over the internet in the usual places. What does "the backdrop of the ancient" mean? What does "a soulful love embodied with betrayal and war" mean? If you've actually seen the film and want to write a synopsis, please remember that we have to write contributions in our own words, and from a WP:Neutral point of view.
