Currently Kangri redirects to Kangri language, but I propose moving Kanger to Kangri. There is a discussion about this move here. Phil Bridger (talk) 19:42, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Change the Title
editKindly change the name from 'Kangri Dialect' to 'Kangri Language' or 'Kangri'. I tried doing it, but failed each time. ping Uanfala Nik9hil (talk) 10:03, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- Nik9hil, I don't think this can be moved to Kangri as it doesn't appear to be the primary topic for the term. I won't object to Kangri language, so feel free to request at WP:RMT. – Uanfala (talk) 11:57, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
Language vs Dialect
editSo called linguists of any particular language have been claiming other's language as part of their own language. This is a common sight in India. Kangri writers & poet for now work for Pahari language's cause. Therefore, while talking about sensitive issues like dialect or language, it should reflect the opinions of the native speakers & not fancies of others. Nik9hil (talk) 05:12, 15 July 2022 (UTC)
