This short blog post in the National Review, by conservative editorial writer/activist Ed Whalen, cannot be used to support a claim in Wikipedia's voice. And even if attributed to the source, I would think it would not be proper weight.

It also appears that the claim made is not even factually correct. The opinion column cites Whitman v. Dep’t of Transportation (2006), as a "summary reversal" where the Supreme Court "reverses without seeing any need for briefing on the merits and oral argument." In fact, the Court DID hear oral argument in Whitman: see https://www.supremecourt.gov/oral_arguments/argument_transcripts/2005/04-1131.pdf. This is just one more reason why we do not rely on opinion columns for statements of fact for sweeping claims. Neutralitytalk 01:18, 24 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
