editWell it appears that the mentioned link just copies the lead section from Wikipedia itself and has nothing to own. The description for all the movies mentioned in the link are a direct copy and paste from the respective movie articles on Wikipedia. The lead provided in this article is nothing but taken from the lead of the original movie article and not from any other source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Msrag (talk • contribs) 14:59, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
- Just to be safe, I'm going to attribute where that lead section came from. :) Cheers! — madman 08:56, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
Rowspans for Result col
editDear SOS, I suggest you please go through the format used by almost all such lists in the . We don't use rowspans for results column. Its absurd to use in that way. The results for each row should be indicated in separate cells and should not be combined with that of the previous rows. I feel you should have discussed it here if you are not sure about it rather than simple reverting things up. Please see this or this or anything in the entire list. You may also refer our very own Ra.One which you must be very familiar of. Please explain why do you need that format. -Msrag (talk) 13:02, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
- Dear Msrag, I suggest you please go through the essay Wikipedia:Other stuff exists, a widely accepted practice dealing with the comparison of articles. We don't make decisions, especially controversial ones, based on what exists in the articles, unless they are proved to be constructive. Its absurd to do so that way, primarily due to the fact that every article in Wikipedia is subject to vandalism and disruptive editing by users, which may be against consensus. I feel that you should have discussed this before controversially making an unaccepted edit, especially when it involves something out-of-policy. The reason I suggested the rowspans were that it could cover a large number of rows at once, clearly. All the reader requires is an eye-sight to make out where it ends and the next one commences. It looks neater, as the amount of rows in the column gets smaller. Hence, if a guideline says so otherwise, I stand corrected. Secret of success (talk) 14:01, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
