Excellent work
editI must congratutale people for creating dedicated pages for almost all Lok Sabha constituencies. Great work, keep going. Thanks and regards, Vjdchauhan 12:34, 3 November 2006 (UTC).
- Thanks Vjdchauhan, I invite you to help to create the pages for other constituencies. Please let me know if you have any queries how to work on it? Cheers, Shyam (T/C) 17:50, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
Dohad
editIts Dahod and not Dohad. There are a lot of mistakes in the district portal of Govt. of India [1] even this says district name as dohad but city name as dahod. Its dahod anyways. Please also see the POV edits made to the MLA of Dahod Babubhai Katara page. Kaushal mehta 06:37, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Aurangabad
editThere are 2 constituencies named Aurangabad, in Bihar and Maharashtra. The page for the Maharashtra one exists, so the link to the Bihar one should be modified accordingly. Salilb (talk) 11:42, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Better Presentation
editCan I suggest that we use a tabular format. the page is simply too long
- Go ahead. Be bold. Shyam (T/C) 09:02, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
Current (pre-delimitation) constituencies
editSince the delimitation has already kicked in last year (2008), I suggest removing all the "pre-delimitation" from this page. If needed, they could be moved into another pre-2008 listing of constituencies. Any thoughts?

- This is about constituencies of 14th Lok sabha. Once 15th Lok Sabha elections come up, we can change those things. Right now such changes will be premature. Thanks.--GDibyendu (talk) 09:44, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- Hi GDibyendu. Unfortunately, what you mention is not consistently true. For example, for states like Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh & Karnataka, clearly it is the new delimitted constituencies are listed. And for other states like Kerala, Madhya Pradesh & Tamil Nadu, both pre-delimitation & post-delimitation constituencies are listed. It would be great if it was consistent - ideally, we could have separate pages for the pre-delimitation & post-delimitation setups. I am happy to help if there is a consensus on the direction to take.
Aditya.krishnan.82 (talk, contribs) 03:05, 22 February 2009 (UTC)- Before replying you should have studied the issue. The state elections of AP, Chhatisgarh and Karnataka were based on new post-delimitation constituencies: these are assembly constituencies. What this page lists are parliamentary constituencies. Newly defined parliamentary constituencies will come into picture when current lok sabha dissolves. --GDibyendu (talk) 05:49, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

- Thanks for noticing it. Some vandalising act. Now it is there. Logical1004 (talk) 11:53, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
Validity
editIs this a list of the current constituencies only? I'm pretty sure that some have come and gone but there is no indication here. - Sitush (talk) 17:56, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
- At least the maps should be up-to-date. --Furfur ⁂ Diskussion 10:21, 31 December 2016 (UTC)

Akparpur not included ?
editThere is an Update tag, with the text doesn't include new constituencies like Akbarpur. I don't see the point. Akbarpur constituency is included. I have removed this message. --Furfur ⁂ Diskussion 10:24, 31 December 2016 (UTC)
