At some stage, the jackpot for the Monday and Wednesday Lottos were increased. I just don't know when.49.178.175.58 (talk) 04:22, 5 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • What I think should be changed (include citations):

This sentence should be changed: State government-owned corporations were once a major sector in the industry. However, with The Lott taking over operation of all state-owned lotteries apart from Western Australia (though the states still retain legal ownership), the only remaining state owned-and-operated lottery in Australia is Lotterywest in Western Australia.

- this should be changed under the 'lotto' section: Currently, the game offers a Division 1 prize of approximately $5 million each week often shared between multiple winners (for example 4 winners each receive $1 million), with regular $20 million "Superdraws" taking place approximately 6-7 times a year.

In addition, there are Megadraws (usually around Christmas/New Year) with jackpots of around $30 million. If there is no Division 1 winner in Tattslotto it jackpots to at least $10 million; the most recent occurrence was in September 2022 and previously in August 2020 and in April 2020.

The following prize divisions can be won:

1st Division, 6, 1 in 8,145,060

2nd Division, 5 + 1 or 2 supplementary, 1 in 678,755

3rd Division, 5, 1 in 36,690

4th Division, 4, 1 in 733

5th Division, 3 + 1 or 2 supplementary, 1 in 298

6th Division, 3, 1 in 53

- this should be changed in the 'monday & wednesday lotto' section: Both Monday and Wednesday draws carry a Division 1 prize of $1 million for up to 4 winners. Occasional Cashcade celebrations occur where winners not only receive the prize money on offer for their division, but also an additional Cashcade bonus.

- this should be changed in the 'oz lotto' section:

2nd Division, 6 + supplementary, 1 in 2,994,834

3rd Division, 6, 1 in 242,825

4th Division, 5 + one or both supplementaries, 1 in 26,271

- this should be added in the 'powerball' section: The new format contains nine divisions, increasing the odds of winning an overall prize (previously 1 in 78 per single game) but decreasing the odds of winning the jackpot (previously 1 in 76,767,600 per single game).

- this should be changed in the 'super 66' section: Super 66 is an Australian lottery game played in all states except New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory. It is a product of The Lott and is played on a Saturday night, drawn just after the main Saturday Lotto draw. Super 66 costs $1.15 per game. A six-digit "winning number" is drawn, and players win prizes by matching either its first or last digits.

odds also need updating: 1st Division, 1 in 1,000,000

2nd Division, 1 in 55,556

3rd Division, 1 in 5,556

4th Division, 1 in 556

5th Division, 1 in 56

- this should be changed in the 'Lucky Lotteries' section Lucky Lotteries is administered by The Lott, after originally being administered by New South Wales Lotteries. Currently, two lotteries are run under this name: Super Jackpot and Mega Jackpot. Since March 2015, the lotteries have been available in all of The Lott jurisdictions.

- these odds should be updated in the 'Set for Life' section:

2nd Division, 6 + supplementary, 1 in 2,737,184

4th Division, 5 + one or both supplementaries, 1 in 25,702
