Verbose plot descriptions

"At the church, he comes into contact with Priya (Jacqueline Fernandez), a model. Arjun seems to kiss her initially without her consent, but she later gives in and both of them end up at her home. There they end up stripping each other and passionately smooching. Priya eventually opens her bra and tries to tease Arjun. Arjun ends up opening her shorts and devours her with animal-like hunger, and sex is implied (offscreen) both of them eventually end up climaxing and Priya reveals to harbor romantic feelings for Arjun. However, Arjun only lusts after Priya's marvelous body and asks her to find someone else if she wants love, as Arjun can only have a no-strings attached relationship, and nothing else."

Though accurate to the plot and screenplay, this adds nothing to the summary. The whole thing comes of as adolescent and perverted in a way. Samarth agnihotri (talk) 01:37, 26 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

@77Survivor: Statements from actors are not really due when concerning basic aspects of films such as remake rights et. al. especially when that aspect has been specifically denied by the filmmakers and the director (WP:WEIGHT and WP:UNDUE applies); that is definite enough for the WP:LEAD to limit it to a counter statement from the makers but not to doubly counter the counter as it is non-standard per precedent (as is the usual case for counters in leads).

The additions are perhaps better suited for the body but considering the statement reads (emphasis mine): "It was also a remake from some South Korean film, called Chaser." It would, as expected, appear that the supporting actor is himself unsure. We do not air the views of the scores of people involved in a film, the most relevant people working in a film are the director, producer and writer [and the like] as far as plagiarism controversies are concerned and as far as I know we do not extend the courtesy with respect to that to uninvolved film actors (i.e. not involved in the making as producers etc).
