Typo
editWhat does "ethnic price" mean? Did you mean "ethnic pride"? — Chris Woodrich (talk) 23:32, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, thanks.--Wehwalt (talk) 23:49, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
Norse?
editWhy are we using "Norse-American" when the usual term in U.S. English is Norwegian-American? I'm a Minnesota native of (partly) Norwegian descent, and I never encountered "Norse-American" in conversation or publications. Sca (talk) 13:35, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- Because that is how the medal is called. Internal consistency in the article seemed called for.--Wehwalt (talk) 18:18, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
Full name of the medal
editIt appears the proper full name is the "Norse-American Centennial medal" given that it was issued in connection with the Norse-American Centennial. I'm not sure if a page move or creating a redirect is more appropriate here. I'll defer to someone better versed in policy, but thought it should be brought to someone's attention.
