File:US Postal Currency 5 cent 1862 1863.jpg to appear as POTD
editHello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:US Postal Currency 5 cent 1862 1863.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on June 17, 2013. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2013-06-17. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. Thanks! — Crisco 1492 (talk) 15:54, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
Merger and reformat proposal
editIf there is no objection, I would like to merge this article with Fractional currency under the name Fractional currency, turn it into a list-class article, add a table with a complete type-set of high resolution images from the Smithsonian, and prep it to go to FLC. I would appreciate help with the merge so as not to loose the edit history data. I would then replace the text with essentially the same text, reorganized, edited, and fully referenced. Thanks-Godot13 (talk) 01:19, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
- Proposal and discussion regarding merge has been open for over 2 weeks. No objections voiced. Merge/redirect will be put into place. Talk page will be redirected.-Godot13 (talk) 22:45, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
