PHIT/HIT
editdoi:10.1111/jth.13405 - protamine administration increases risk of antibodies against the protamine-heparin complex and can result in a HIT-like state. JFW | T@lk 16:29, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
Error message
edit"Cite error: The named reference "refGRCh38Ensembl" was defined multiple times with different content (see the help page)." - User:Boghog writes here that the template {{infobox gene}} "is meant to be used once and only once per article". Wakari07 (talk) 15:15, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- Fixed I have moved the {{infobox gene}} boxes to newly created gene specific PRM1 and PRM2 pages and restored the {{infobox protein}} boxes with embedded links to the the new pages. Boghog (talk) 15:55, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

Note about structure and fringe theories
editThis is just a note on why I've removed the Biegeleisen 2006 reference. The reference conflicts so significantly with the other proposed models (both for protamine and for DNA), as well as with experimental evidence, that I think it's reasonable to omit as a fringe position. The author of that theory has shown interest in forwarding fringe topics on some other pages.
I think it's therefore sensible to be cautious about any re-addition of the following references without significant consensus:
