List of roles and awards of...
editThere is a proposal to rename another article in the form "[Name], roles and awards" to "List of roles and awards of [name]" which would affect this article. Please see the discussion at Talk:John Gielgud, roles and awards#Requested move and particularly under Talk:John Gielgud, roles and awards#List of roles and awards of John Gielgud. —sroc 💬 02:13, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
Categorization
editFirst, thanks to all for the great work on this list. I do want to ask if we really want these categories to be present, when the article Ralph Richardson is already categorized with them:
Category:20th-century English male actors Category:BAFTA winners (people) Category:Best British Actor BAFTA Award winners Category:English male film actors Category:English male stage actors Category:English male voice actors Category:Knights Bachelor Category:Male Shakespearean actors
In other words - A list of an English male film actor's works is not itself an English male film actor.

- For my own part I don't mind a bit which categories do or don't appear. I've never seen the practical use of categories, but shouldn't wish to cramp the style of those who do. Tim riley talk 14:27, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
- Based on the lack of objection, I am going to go ahead and remove those categories from this article. Any concerns, let's discuss. KConWiki (talk) 05:05, 27 August 2014 (UTC)
