  • ... that eleven years after serving as a Super Bowl usher, Rodney Parker came back to the game as a player? Source: Parker Ushers In a Dream Come True ("Any day now, someone is going to pick the Oakland Raiders to defeat the Eagles on the basis of "Super Bowl experience." He'll say the Raiders rate an edge because they've been to the Big One before. The Eagles, we will be told, don't have any players with Super Bowl backgrounds. Well, that's, not true. Wide receiver Rodney Parker took part in Super Bowl IV, the Kansas City-Minnesota game played in January 1970. Now you might be wondering how Rodney Parker, a 27-year-old NFL rookie, got involved in a Super Bowl played 11 years ago. We all know Coach Hank Stram had an eye for young talent but, well, that's ridiculous. Actually, Rodney worked as an usher at that game, helping fans find their seats in old Tulane Stadium.")

  •   Newly created article, plenty long enough. Well written and thoroughly cited; it's more or less ready for a GA review. Hook is short, interesting, in the article, and cited. QPQ is done. Good to go! Pi.1415926535 (talk) 05:41, 12 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • having PHI next to each other in the stats column makes it look like he played for the eagles for 3 years   Done
    • Changed the stars abbreviation.
  • are we sure he was even with the maulers? I have seen those empty usfl profiles on statscrew (formerly Just Sports Stats) before and i am not sure what they are because some other people still havd games played listed.   Done
    • Thinking about it - I decided to remove the Maulers as I was unable to find any other sources confirming that he was with them.
  • adjust maulers row in table if we change anything.   Done
    • Done.
  • i think maybe we should remove falcons and eagles 1982 from the stats table because i dont think we usually put offseason teams in the tables. I think we onlt put "DNP" if they were active or injured reserve.   Done
    • Removed.
