Shaq's doctorate should be highlighted alongside his music career in the extended introduction. This important enough to be there 120.18.18.54 (talk) 22:29, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I agree, as he holds the title of Dr which he achieved by completing a Doctorate in Education it should be referenced in the lead.ChefBear01 (talk) 10:53, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
It seems to only be mentioned in passing in sources. It doesn't appear to be integral to his notability, so mention in the body only is appropriate. —Bagumba (talk) 12:53, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please note that some of Shaquille O'Neal's philanthropy work is not listed on his page. I'd like to request adding a Board that he currently sits on***
Shaquille O'Neal currently serves on the Board of Directors for Communities In Schools, a non-profit organization that works alongside parents, educators, community-based organizations, school and district leaders to help students overcome obstacles and succeed in school and life.
Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{Edit semi-protected}} template. Is there an independent reliable source that mentions this? I think that's a good way to filter his notable work. On a broader topic, there doesn't seem to be any mention of his philanthropy in the article currently, which is a gap, given that he's known to be charitable.—Bagumba (talk) 05:49, 14 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
