Touchstone and Dreamworks
editAccording to the company credits section on IMDB, Touchstone and Dreamworks are not involved in the making of this movie, and should therefore not be included in the company credits list for Shark Night. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.5.30.111 (talk) 14:39, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
Ving Rhames
editCan we stop this back and forth with Ving Rhames in the cast list? Is there any definitive source that indicates he's part of the cast? Ducold (talk) 02:30, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
- According to the highly reliable site IMDb sarcasm he is playing the same character he plays in Piranha 3D and Piranha 3DD. I have a very hard time believing this and since no reliable source states this, please people stop adding it. This is exactly why we do not use IMDb as a source or guide for upcoming films. The site even states that information may be wrong. Why is this hard for people to understand? Is there a misconception that IMDb is the most reliable source for films? Where is this memo located? —Mike Allen 02:18, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
- How is he even coming back in the first place? He was eaten alive! --99.101.160.159 (talk) 19:02, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
Critical Research Failure
editthe trailers list about two dozen species of shark, proclaiming them all man-eaters, yet only four species have even been recorded as attacking humans unprovoked -- the Great White, the Tiger, the Bull, and the Oceanic White Tip (which Jacques Cousteau considered the most dangerous of the lot!) --99.101.160.159 (talk) 19:05, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
- You expected reality in a movie like this? I don't think sharks growl before they attack or can outrun a speedboat either. Ducold (talk) 23:06, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
Speargun vs. Bangstick
editIPs have spoken up in either direction. I haven't seen the film, and I'm certainly not planning to see it just to settle this question. So, which is it? Doniago (talk) 19:54, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
It's a bangstick, a speargun would shoot a spear, and no spear was shot from it, and besides, I've handled a bangstick before, and that is a bangstick.
