I will review this article, thank you.  — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 08:36, 25 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Lead

edit
  • "Principal photography began on 19 November 2014 in Hyderabad after a launch ceremony" — can be rephrased as " Principal photography for the film began on 19 November 2014 after it was launched in Hyderabad."
  • "released globally" — "released worldwide" would sound better.
  • "festival season on 800-900 screens" — festival season in 800-900 screens"
  • "grossing ₹750 million globally" — "earning ₹750 million worldwide"
  • Remove the link to the prequel, Bangarraju. You can add it again after confirming that filming for it has begun.

Plot

edit
  • "pays her very little attention because of his work" — "pays very little attention to her because of his work"
  • Done
  • "meets Suri, a frightened drunk who runs away." — Why does he run away? is it on seeing Ramu? or Bangarraju's ghost form? or is it Ramu looks like Bangarraju that Suri believes it is Bangarraju's ghost come back to haunt him?

Production

edit
  • "completed a bound script" — Just "completed the script" should suffice.
  • "Nagarjuna said that Bangarraju and Satyabhama (played by Ramya) are a "hot, romantic" couple, in contrast to the "innocent, cute" Ramu and Seetha (played by Tripathi)." — "In a January 2016 interview with Sangeetha Devi Dundoo of The Hindu, Nagarjuna mentioned that Bangarraju and Satyabhama (played by Ramya) would be a "hot, romantic" couple, in contrast to the "innocent, cute" Ramu and Seetha (played by Tripathi)."
  • As the author doesn't have an article, i am sure that mentioning only the newspaper would be fine.
  • "Tripathi later said that her character, a traditional Indian girl, would have a romantic touch" — "After being cast, Tripathi said that her character, a traditional Indian girl, would have a romantic touch.", as the reference is a November 2014 date, so "later said" technically can't be used here. :-)
  • How things like these happen in the first place?
  • "P. S. Vinod and Siddhardh Ramaswami were the cinematographers, and Prawin Pudi edited the film. Ravinder Reddy was its art director." — P. S. Vinod and Siddhardh Ramaswami were the cinematographers. Prawin Pudi and Ravinder Reddy were in charge of the film's editing and art direction respectively." and wikilink Prawin Pudi as well.
  • "on a studio set" — erected where? in Annapurna studios? if so, mention it as "and principal photography began several hours later on a studio set erected there."
  • "Two shooting schedules finished, and a new schedule began on 11 February 2015" — Not really sure what you mean here (looks a bit vague).
  • "After filming major portions in and around Rajahmundry, principal photography resumed at Mysore on 10 March 2015. Several scenes were filmed at a 1,500-year-old Vishnu temple in Mysore." — maybe like this for the first sentence: "Principal photography continued in Mysore on 10 March 2015 after key sequences were filmed in and around Rajahmundry." BTW, does any reference have the name of the temple? If so, add it along with the temple's name.
  • No. The temple's name is not available.

Music

edit
  • Remove Behindwoods' review as it is sadly no longer considered reliable. It can be included only if it contains any exclusive interviews, like in Enthiran's case.
  • Done

Release and reception

edit
  • ""released globally" — "released worldwide" would sound better and "festival season on 800-900 screens" — festival season in 800-900 screens"" applies here too.
  • Same as the music review of Behindwoods.
  • Try expanding the other reviews or find more reviews if you can (include the technical aspects, say more about the film's highlights, compare the cast members' performances etc).
  • Thank you, but i already had my head screwed enough while working on Siva and Eega. It was hard enough to realise and understand that short and straight is actually beneficial for encyclopaedia. IMHO, it would be better to leave this section as it is, as further improvement would pull away the focus. (BTW, all reviews seem to say more or less the same thing in detail what we mentioned here).

Remake and prequel plans

edit
  • "Nagarjuna announced an eponymous prequel which will begin production in 2017. Kurasala is returning as director." — "Nagarjuna announced an eponymous prequel with Kurasala is returning as director; production for the prequel is slated to begin in 2017."
  • Done

@Pavanjandhyala: On the whole, the article looks pretty good. Resolve the comments and the article is passed. :-)  — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 09:48, 25 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Ssven2: Thanks for taking up the review. I hopefully addressed everything and am looking forward for further constructive comments if any. Regards, Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:37, 25 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
