Streets are enlightened during Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri,Janmashtami, etc. A temple of Vaishnodevi Mata is situated at the heart of Sunder Nagar.
Sunder Nagar Garden is quite famous for its Cricket and Football facilities. The garden includes a huge playground having all facilities, joggers area, water tank known as 'Pyau'.At evenings it is a place to be!!One can enjoy the Golawala',Pani-Puri, Shankar's sandwich and Dosas.
