editWHAT HAPPENED TO THE ARTICLE I WROTE?! (StudentSteve 06:22, 21 February 2006 (UTC))
- It's back...and badder than ever! Wavy G 22:03, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks whoever brought it back :D Very Happy Student Steve (who has forgotten how to sign things).
This shouldn't be listed as a cult movie.
The song...
editDoesn't seem to be any mention of the song "Addams Groove" recorded by MC Hammer for this film ("They do what they wanna do, say what they wanna say etc.") -- do I remember rightly that it was voted the worst song of the year? This list says it was voted "Worst Song" in the 1992 Razzies... Dave-ros (talk) 23:40, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:The Addams Family.jpg
editImage:The Addams Family.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Dodgy Links
editJoan Cussak who played Debbie Uncle Festers wife is not listed
- Because she's in the second film, not this one--TimothyJacobson (talk) 15:51, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
I think some of the links in this article are dodgy...
eg "evening" in the Plot section takes to an outside page with nothing to do with evening etc...
can someone please verify if these links are legit or spammed in? Ta Sem boy (talk) 12:01, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
John Astin is the neighbor & judge
editI'm viewing the film right now on TV. I'm pretty sure that John Astin, who played Gomez in the original TV series, plays the neighbor whose house is riddled by Gomez' golf balls, who turns out to be the judge who tosses them out of the mansion. However, I can't confirm it anywhere else on Wikipedia, on IMDb, or anywhere else on the Internet that I've looked. Can anyone confirm this? (Anyone with the DVD should be able to pause it during the credits. --BlueNight (talk) 17:45, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
Jugde Womack was portrayed by Paul Benedict, not Josh Astin. Xprivate eyex (talk) 07:09, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
Deleted scenes
editsources are missing for the deleted scenes section, because as far as I know, they were never released on any DVD. Could anybody pelase add the source for this? Not just for wikipedia stnadards, also because fans yould surely like to be able to see them, if possible... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.181.110.44 (talk) 12:30, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
Merge soundtrack article
editI'm not seeing anything at The Addams Family (1991 soundtrack) that either establishes the soundtrack as independently notable or that would be especially difficult to include here. Thoughts? DonIago (talk) 06:04, 7 December 2019 (UTC) Done DonIago (talk) 17:59, 27 December 2019 (UTC)
Cast listing
editWhy can't Lumpy Addams, Flora and Fauna Amor be added to the cast when those are 2 of these characters are what the story is somewhat based around, Gomez and Fester had their falling out over the Amor sisters and they appear in the movie playing a roll in the direction of the movie mid way through and are credited in the movie which makes them principal characters and Lumpy Addams is the only another family member along with Cousin IT that has a scene in the movie and is seen more then once. Lumpy Addams and IT both played the same minor roll in the movie. Eerie Holiday (talk) 01:53, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
- I don't think Lumpy is a significant enough character to merit inclusion, especially as the actor doesn't have an article here. I'm more amenable to the Amor sisters, but I'd like to hear from other editors. DonIago (talk) 02:06, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
- Lumpy Addams is also in The Addams Family Values in an uncredited role and him and Cousin IT are both in the same position both very minor roles how do you say okay to one but not the other. Eerie Holiday (talk) 02:14, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
- I didn't say I thought either was okay. I said I was "more amenable" to one than the other. I also said I'd like to hear from other editors. BTW, if Lumpy is uncredited, then you're going to need a source (not IMDb per WP:RS/IMDb) to establish that the actor plays the character. DonIago (talk) 05:07, 2 September 2021 (UTC)

Lumpy is uncredited in Addams Family Values the sequel to The Addams Family he is credited in The Addams Family (1991). Eerie Holiday (talk) 16:45, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
