critical acclaim? not in France

I am French and can attest that THE CLASS has arguable and controversial success in France, about half the French population likes this movie, the other half find it either boring or irritating. I changed the automatic translation of the title at the beginning to "literal translation" to avoid the ugly gap caused by the formatting. It's been reverted; the result is that probably most people who come in to the article will fail to see the content, which you have to scroll down quite a bit to get to!
