edit@In ictu oculi: Rajadhyaksha and Willemen, in their book "Encyclopedia of Indian Cinema" refer to the film as Secretary, in the filmography section of Chaturbhuj Doshi. This book is vastly used for reference even by Indian cinema authors. Difficult to find other book references for the film. Kaayay (talk) 10:52, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
- User:Kaayay, okay thanks. Two book sources, and two names. Rajadhyaksha and Willemen would perhaps be preferred. However, before we make the change can we confirm the Hindi title? I'm guessing it's सचिव ? In ictu oculi (talk) 11:00, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
- User:In ictu oculi Wow! I've no idea, I've always used secretary! But on googling it I got Sachiv|सचिव. I suppose that should do. Thanks again. Kaayay (talk) 11:10, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
- Are we certain it's Sachiv, not just Sekretari written in Devanagari script? ... I must admit I havn't looked at Hindi wp. In ictu oculi (talk) 11:27, 9 December 2014 (UTC)

- User:In ictu oculi, The Hindi WP uses Sachiv for secretary. So maybe we go with that? Kaayay (talk) 11:44, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
- I'd still be inclined to leave it at "The Secretary" as a more natural translation of सचिव. The leading character is a secretary and it's about Madhuri's attraction to him. In ictu oculi (talk) 12:27, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
