"Vignanesvaramu"

@Nikh Nori: What's your source for the spelling "Vignanesvaramu"? There is not even a single Google result for that term besides the Wikipedia page that resulted from your move. Such a move needs more justification, and is best done through a move request. utcursch | talk 17:33, 31 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

It's a Telugu language text, not Sanskrit/Hindi. In Telugu it's written as విజ్ఞానేశ్వరము. The letter జ్ఞ corresponds to gna/gnya in Telugu orthography. B. S. Chandrababu transliterates it as Vijnanesvaramu. V. N. Rao and Richard M. Eaton provided the IAST transliteration, not Telugu. That's why they were using the diacritics and not the common form. Relevant article on the letter జ్ఞ. Nikh Nori (talk) 17:50, 31 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
This is English Wikipedia, and we should use the names used in English-language sources per WP:COMMONNAME. utcursch | talk 18:02, 31 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
