El Presidente (film)
edit- ... that the film El Presidente, an official 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, is possibly the most expensive Filipino film of all time?
- Comment: Eaglestorm is listed as 2nd author because they wrote the plot summary. And I like DYKs. The expansion started more than five days ago, but I think that's okay. QPQ: Kentrail Davis.
5x expanded by What a pro. (talk), Eaglestorm (talk). Nominated by What a pro. (talk) at 12:52, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
- 5x expansion is supposed to be done within five days of the nomination; this article wasn't nominated until two weeks after expansion. Indeed, the date had to be reopened. This should at least have been addressed in the review; since it was not mentioned—and DYKcheck notes that the article is still labeled as a stub—I have to conclude that the reviewer ignored that fact. What happened was a major expansion by Eaglestorm on December 31, and a not-quite-as-long expansion by What a pro., the nominator, on January 14, two weeks later and the day of nomination. The article simply doesn't qualify under DYK rules: nine days late is far too long, and the second expansion only about 1.5x. BlueMoonset (talk) 00:47, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
- You're right, I should have addressed it in my statement. Otherwise it does appear that I ignored the issue entirely, which is not the case. I was going to let it pass because the expansion, which started with an article of 723 b was expanded to 6402 within 5 days. Yes the nomination was late, but that was a 5x expansion in 5 days. Considering that when an article is nominated short of a 5x expansion the standard operating procedure appears to be to give that nominator more time, beyond the five days, to complete expansion, I didn't see a problem with giving this a checkmark, despite the delay in nominating the article. – Muboshgu (talk) 00:53, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
- I don't mind accepting this a little late. We haven't had Philippine articles in a while. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:23, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
