Nimbuzz
edit- ... that in 2012 Nimbuzz moved its headquarters from Rotterdam to New Delhi, India to be closer to the expected mobile Internet boom happening there in the next five years?
Moved to mainspace by JoltColaOfEvil (talk). Self nominated at 08:40, 5 June 2013 (UTC).
- Article reads way too much like a press kit. Needs some NPOV work. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 20:13, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- Nimbuzz is my first article, and I wrote it as NPOV as I could. I don't even use the product! I guess I'm just too close to the material to see how to make it "more" NPOV. Any guidance? JoltColaOfEvil (talk) 21:01, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- The article has had some more work on it, hopefully now it meets NPOV. JoltColaOfEvil (talk) 06:39, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
- Is there anything further to do here, or is this dead in the water? JoltColaOfEvil (talk) 01:01, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
- Needs a full review now that article has been worked on; reviewer should be sure to check NPOV. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:52, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
- Striking original (now-unsupported) hook, and notifying nominator that issues exist. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:23, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
- I have re-supported the submitted hook, with a further citation. There are a few other possible hooks about this topic, but all of them are either rather company focused, or (annoyingly) I have been unable to find citations for them (thus running foul of WP:SYNTH). This hook is interesting because this expected mobility boom in India is of interest to more than just this one company. JoltColaOfEvil (talk) 21:18, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
- Reviewer please. JoltColaOfEvil (talk) 10:44, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
- Tech Barita says "Page not found". Trutower is a blog with no indication that it can be considered a reliable source. Pr Newswire is a press release direct from the company. Sociable appears to be an unreliable blog. The Sociable author goes by the username Social Guy. SL93 (talk) 22:38, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
- Tech Barita, Trutower, Sociable refs gone. Other sources supplied. I have left the Newswire ref in, and supported it with an additional ref. JoltColaOfEvil (talk) 01:02, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
- My concern has been addressed. I assume good faith on the Dutch reference. SL93 (talk) 02:17, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
- You can use Chrome translate to read the page if you wish. Nimbuzz was based in Rotterdam at the time of the award. If you are happy with the DYK, I believe you need to edit the head of the template to passed=yes ? JoltColaOfEvil (talk) 02:44, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
- That is what the promoter does who needs to be an editor that is different from the reviewer. SL93 (talk) 02:51, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
- I see :) JoltColaOfEvil (talk) 02:53, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
