- Thank you for working on this article! 5x expansion is okay. Citation (The Hindu) only says Film Institute. Although I think we can accept it in good faith. Also I propose ALT hook that, IMO, talks about a significant milestone in Indian cinema.
- ALT 1 ... that P. C. Sreeram directed Vaanam Vasappadum (2004), India's first high-definition digital motion picture? Mspraveen (talk) 05:05, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
- Added ref. Although I agree that ALT1 is an interesting one, I think it's more appropriate for the film. I'm planning to take that film to DYK (Can't think of a better hook for that film) I want to retain the original hook since the fact that PC was a student of Madras Film Institute is not well-known. —Vensatry (Ping me) 06:47, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for adding the new refs. The second ref still does not talk of MFI. The third ref is not from a reliable source. Despite this, all of them do seem to indicate that he was MFI alumnus. All in all, this is good to go! Mspraveen (talk) 04:18, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
