  • Winnipeg's Contemporary Dancers created on Feb 1,nom on Feb 7/new enough. 1763 char/long enough. Neutral. Cited. No apparent copyvios. QPQ done. Rachel Browne created on Feb. 7 and nom same day/new enough. 2908 char/long enough. Neutral. Cited. No apparent copyvios. QPQ done. No image. Comparison of article URLs does not indicate text duplications copied between the 2 articles. Hook at 97 char/under maximum. Hook is cited immediately following with two references in Browne article. In Winnipeg's Contemporary Dancers article, I do not see the claim that the company is the oldest. Instead it says it is the longest-running. Though Holmberg reference is cited as off-line was able to access on-line here and confirm claim of "oldest surviving modern dance company". This seems to indicate there were other companies (and they might have had a longer run), which are no longer functional. Maybe adding the word "extant" or "currently" would solve the problem for the Browne article, but you need to add the hook claim of oldest to the Winnipeg's Contemporary Dancers article. Enjoyed reading them. Thanks for your work! SusunW (talk) 23:06, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
Perhaps an alt is in order? I suggest the text below, which is cited in both articles:
ALT 1 ... that Rachel Browne created Winnipeg's Contemporary Dancers, Canada's longest running modern dance company?
@SusunW:Let me know if you need anything else. Z1720 (talk) 00:18, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
  • Z1720 the source doesn't say it is longest-running. It says it is "oldest surviving" meaning there were others. We have no idea how long any of them might have functioned as we don't know what they were called or how long-lived they might have been. If you have a source that specifically says it is the longest-running, I'll be happy to look at it, but it would need to be noted in both articles. SusunW (talk) 00:26, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
  • SusunW Thanks for responding so quickly. Both articles cite [1]. The exact quote from the source is, "Winnipeg's Contemporary Dancers is Canada's longest operating modern dance company". I think this fulfills the citation requirement. If it does not, how would you phrase the DYK to fulfill the criteria? Z1720 (talk) 00:35, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
  • Z1720 Totally apologize. I was still hung in the book source. I do see that you have added longest operating to Browne. Thirty lashes to me. It's GTG. Thanks for your patience with my obtuse brain ;) SusunW (talk) 00:41, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
