1st leg -> Home leg and 2nd leg -> Away leg
editI propose that the columns titled 1st leg and 2nd leg be changed to Home leg and Away leg. Usually, in the Champions League and UEFA Cup (and probably other comps too, but that's outside my field of knowledge) the team drawn first plays at home first and away second. However, in this season's Champions League and UEFA Cup competitions, the order of the matches has been reversed a few times. Therefore, to preserve the order of the draw in the TwoLeg tables, this column change would make things a whole lot easier. – PeeJay 10:31, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- Problem with that idea is the header doesn't specify for which team the home leg or the away leg is for. Digirami (talk) 02:08, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Color The Winners
editMaybe there's a way to do this already, but it would be nice in a competition where the draw isn't defined to color the winning team in the same light green that is used in the group stages. I've tried a lot of different things, without success, so I thought that I'd post here to see what people think. Mattsalt77 (talk) 22:19, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
- @Mattsalt77: example article? Frietjes (talk) 01:29, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
- @Frietjes: UEFA Champions League Group Stage is colored how I would like. Ideally the coloring would be applied to Knockout Phase as well so you could visually see who was moving on. Mattsalt77 (talk) 19:24, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
- @Mattsalt77: I see. so this would be a modification to template:TwoLegResult. how would you like to specify the colouring?
|winner=1 or 2

Please change this to use auto width instead of hardcoding the coulumn widths. This makes it better suited for all large club names and different screen sizes. See sandbox for proposed solution. Tholme (talk) 17:20, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
- Tholme, would you be averse to creating a testcases page for this template, ideally copying some actual usages from articles, so that we can see the differences between the live template and the sandbox? I don't know enough about football to know whether this change to a template that is trancluded in 4,000 articles would be a problem or not, but I know that footy fans can be ... passionate. – Jonesey95 (talk) 18:51, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
- Not done for now: please reactivate when testcases are complete — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 12:54, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
1st and 2nd leg header
editCan there be an option added to have these labeled into something else (such as "Game 1" and "Game 2")? Howard the Duck (talk) 14:16, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
