I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Tagging pages for speedy deletion

Please don't replace page content with the speedy deletion template, but rather add them to the page and leave the content intact - before deletion, an administrator must investigate the page on his/her own and having to check page history to see the content before you blanked it is not helping. Other than that, keep up the good work! Thanks, Миша13 12:58, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

PARANOiA

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article PARANOiA, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Oli Filth 15:32, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

AfD nomination of PARANOiA

PARANOiA, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that PARANOiA satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PARANOiA (3rd nomination) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of PARANOiA during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Oli Filth 15:58, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Planetmikey.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Planetmikey.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Image tagging for Image:TWC Logo.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:TWC Logo.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:11, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Speedy Tagging

A quick word that it might be a good idea to read WP:CSD before tagging more articles. Some of your tags are using the incorrect criteria and you also seem to be tagging articles that claim notability. It is important to get these tags right as incorrect and inappropriate tags can be very bitey to newcomers (and old hands too!). Thanks and let me know if I can help in any way. --Slp1 21:01, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

It would be a good idea to go through your contributions and fix the mistakes you have made, by removing or changing the tags. I will be starting the process, but it will help you learn what are and are not appropriate tags. PS. New Messages usually go at the bottom of the page.--Slp1 21:06, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
Tagging articles for CSD is a serious business and it is good to take time to do it carefully. You used the 'nonsense' tag much too liberally: if you look at the definition you will see that the articles are to be incoherent for that. In general you seem to have slowed down and your recent tags are more appropriate, which is good, since it can be very upsetting for other editors to get hastily thought out (and plain wrong) tags on their articles. And it can get you into trouble too! So stick to tagging articles that you are absolutely 100% sure about, and watch what tags other people use... and of course, read the criteria over and over again. Good luck!--Slp1 21:38, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:GC Logo.JPG)

Thanks for uploading Image:GC Logo.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 13:37, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Fair use disputed for Image:PJV Logo.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:PJV Logo.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:22, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
