- Anti-de Sitter space: nominated at RM; New name: Anti–de Sitter space 10:28, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: It is impossible to tell from search whether this is usually spelled with a hyphen or an en dash, but MOS:PREFIXDASH calls for an en dash since de Sitter is one name.
- Template:RM notification: nominated at RM; New name: Template:RM notice 10:31, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Consistency with similar notices such as Template:AfD notice; the target is currently occupied by a redirect to Template:Title notice.
- Jupiter LI: nominated at AfD; notified Vluebben (talk · contribs) 01:45, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: At Talk:Moons of Jupiter#Should we stop creating articles for newly-discovered irregular moons?, users expressed concerns about a huge number of stubs about small Jovian and Saturnian moons for which no nontrivial information is available. There are 84 known moons of Jupiter at time of writing, and it is estimated that there are about 600 retrograde irregular moons larger than 0.8 km.[1]In particular, this moon fails WP:NASTRO and WP:GNG. In particular, there are no papers at Google Scholar that focus specifically on this moon and are not coauthored by the discoverers.

They were officially named in August 2019 after a Twitter-based IAU voting contest,[2] and the articles contain concerning amounts of personal information about those who voted for the winning names.

- Reason: :S/2004 S 4 (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views):S/2004 S 6 (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)There is a broad consensus to redirect most of the small moons of Jupiter and moons of Saturn, and this has been done for about half of Jupiter's irregular satellites. Although users seem to support keeping most, if not all, of the inner satellites, these ones haven't even been confirmed to exist, and unconfirmed objects are rarely notable.

- Template:Computable knowledge: nominated at TfD; notified Waldyrious (talk · contribs) 22:48, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Navigation box based on WP:OR and with no main article (Computable knowledge does not exist). The "Proposals and implementations" section is particularly arbitrary; it includes everything from Dewey Decimal Classification to Incompleteness theorem to Wikipedia.
- Albiorix (moon): nominated at RM; New name: Albiorix 18:06, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: An attempted WP:PROD at the base-title disambiaguation page was thwarted by the addition of a redlinked genus, but this moon is still the obvious primary topic over two others that don't have standalone articles. The dab page would then be moved to Albiorix (disambiguation).
- Category:Stereotypes of East Asians: nominated at CfD (CfR); renaming to Category:Stereotypes of East Asian people; notified Backendgaming (talk · contribs) 09:34, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Consistency with parallel categories that are not about a specific nationality.
- Yorp: nominated at RM (technical); New name: YORP 12:59, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Both the YORP effect and the asteroid 54509 YORP are universally capitalized; the only unrelated occurences on Wikipedia are a few passing mentions of a fictional species in Commander Keen in Invasion of the Vorticons and an initiative of the National Youth Commission (Philippines).

- CIA activities in Brazil: nominated at RfD; Target: 1964 Brazilian coup d'état (notified); notified Sandstein (talk · contribs) 01:49, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Possibly too broad for the target article, which is about a specific event in Brazil with known CIA involvement.
- Yarkovsky–O'Keefe–Radzievskii–Paddack effect: nominated at RM; New name: YORP effect 01:52, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Based on Google Scholar results, it is likely that more academic literature uses the abbreviation than the rather unwieldy full name, just like NASA and TRIPS Agreement. However, there are no Google Books results about the YORP effect, so it is impossible to compare them using Ngrams.
- Untied Plankton Pictures: nominated at RfD; Target: Stephen Hillenburg (notified); notified Feminist (talk · contribs) 04:19, 21 January 2023 (UTC)

- Category:Earth-crosser asteroids: nominated at CfDS (C2D); New name: Category:Earth-crossing asteroids 05:05, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Consistency with sibling categories and the main article, List of Earth-crossing asteroids.

- Category:Venus trojans: nominated at CfD (CfM); merging to Category:Venus co-orbital minor planets; notified DN-boards1 (talk · contribs) 05:40, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: 2013 ND15 is the only known object of this type. I created the new category to hold this category, plus three more asteroids that are not trojans, and diffuse Category:Co-orbital minor planets.

- Reason: Was prodded by me in April 2020 due to failing WP:LISTN and WP:OR, but deprodded without explanation by Andrew Davidson (talk · contribs), who is now banned from deletion-related activities. I'm still confident that this fails LISTN and OR because there are zero relevant search results.
- Category:Fictional gas giants: nominated at CfD (CfM); merging to Category:Fictional giant planets; notified J 1982 (talk · contribs) 12:36, 22 January 2023 (UTC)

- Bastard (law of England and Wales): nominated at RM; New name: Bastard (law) 13:12, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Although the term is specific to English and Welsh law, there are no other legal terms from which to disambiguate.
- Kepler-277: nominated at RfD; Target: Kepler-277b (notified); notified Kepler-1229b (talk · contribs) 14:06, 22 January 2023 (UTC)

- Bret Ryan: nominated at AfD; notified Sapphiirestarr (talk · contribs) 04:10, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Per outcome at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2023 January 12#Bret Ryan (Character), which chose to restore this largely unsourced article about a fanfiction character associated with Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Content is entirely in-universe plot summary, and only source is Fanfiction.net.

- Category:Group of Seven: nominated at CfDS (C2B); New name: Category:Group of Seven (artists) 13:09, 5 February 2023 (UTC)

- Indian property bubble: nominated at AfD; notified MilindKolekar (talk · contribs) 08:29, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: PRODded twice, with the second rationale reading:
The first rationale was:A completely speculative article predicting a collapse based on cherrypicked sources from over the years and equating a price decline to a bubble. WP:CRYSTAL and WP:SYNTH.
— User:2405:201:d002:31a1:b8da:f290:3597:3ba7
There was (and still is) a timeline in the article, but most of the sources that are still accessible do not mention a property bubble or even a collapse in Indian real estate prices, and are instead about random events that "look like" speculation about a property bubble. One source from 2013 discusses a "marginal" decrease — never exceedind 6% on a quarterly basis — in real estate prices in 22 cities in India, whereas there was an increase in 4 others. There is an outdated statement about a predicted collapse in "the next three months" sourced to a 2015 article and another article from 2017.Article lacks timeline and its references date from 2005 to 2019 - does not meet definition of bubble
- Reason: PRODded twice, with the second rationale reading:
- Category:Drugs in Oman: nominated at CfD (CfM); merging to Category:Health in Oman; notified Goonsquad LCpl Mulvaney (talk · contribs) 14:34, 12 February 2023 (UTC)

- Category:LGBT in Oman: nominated at CfD (CfM); merging to Category:Gender in Oman; notified AdamPrideTN (talk · contribs) 14:36, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: WP:SMALLCAT that is a near-miss WP:C2F, containing only LGBT rights in Oman. The merge target is the only one that does not already contain the article either directly or in a subcategory.
- Trio (1997 film): nominated at AfD; notified Dotoilage (talk · contribs) 09:44, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: WP:BLAR in December 2022 that was contested; original rationale was due to lack of notability. See also Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2023 February 12#Trio (1997 film).
March 2023
- Sasuke Ninja Warrior Indonesia: nominated at AfD; notified Heriska2 (talk · contribs) 19:47, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Prodded in July 2020 due to lacking sources and failing WP:GNG, but the prod was consteted and then the article was unilaterally redirected to Sasuke (TV series). When content related to international editions of Sasuke was removed in January 2023, this page was brought to RfD. Users at the RfD raised concerns over the decision to WP:BLAR this article, and opted to restore this page and bring it to AfD. I have made no attempt of my own to determine if this topic meets GNG, as this is a procedural AfD and secondary sources would primarily be in Indonesian.
- Category:Ecocide: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified BoldLuis (talk · contribs) 02:33, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: This category is intended for topics related to ecocide as a notion in international criminal law. None of the pages in the category belonged here, except for the main article.
- Imal Liyanage (cricketer, born 1977): nominated at AfD; notified Bobo192 (talk · contribs) 00:51, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
- Gac: nominated at RM; New name: Gấc 23:38, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: The name of this plant is spelled with Vietnamese diacritics, and this spelling is used throughout the article. A user who did this move in 2021 self-reverted the move without explanation, preventing me from implementing this change unilaterally.
- Metal Masters Tour: nominated at AfD; notified Tenacious D Fan (talk · contribs) 03:55, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: BLAR'd to Judas Priest in December 2022 due to notability concerns. The redirect was contested at this RfD on February 10 because there were four notable bands featured in this tour (Judas Priest, Motörhead, Heaven & Hell, and Testament), so this could not be redirected anywhere and participants agreed to take the page to AfD.

- Category:K2-3 system: nominated at CfDS (C2C); New name: Category:K2-3 05:25, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Except for the Solar System, all of the eponymous categories for planetary systems are named after the host star.
- Jack (cat): nominated at AfD; notified CallawayRox (talk · contribs) 00:03, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: PRODded by SilverTiger12 (talk · contribs) after prior AfD in November 2011, due to lack of lasting coverage for this 2011 incident. Previous AfD was closed as no consensus on November 22, less than a month after Jack was found and then euthanized, because it was not clear yet if there would be lasting coverage. There have been no improvements to this article since then, except for a source added in 2013 that devotes 3 short paragraphs to this incident in the context of many similar ones, and removing several unsourced or non-neutral paragraphs.

- Category:Films set in 2104: nominated at CfD (CfM); merging to Category:Films set in the 2100s; notified Edmount (talk · contribs) 08:30, 2 April 2023 (UTC)

- Category:Paintings by century of setting: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified StarTrekker (talk · contribs) 08:44, 2 April 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Underused category tree containing only one subcategory. There is a large redundancy between Category:Works by period of setting and Category:Historical fiction by period of setting, and eliminating this category tree will help to merge the two trees.
- Claytronics: nominated at AfD; notified 64.81.34.159 (talk · contribs) 04:21, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Mildly promotional article supported with only primary references, none more recent than 2009, to the work of a team at Carnegie Mellon University and Intel known as the Claytronics Project whose most recent publication was in 2014. (Though it is not likely COI-created, as most of the current content was added in 2010 by an IP from the University of Wisconsin–Madison as part of a class project.) The topic probably fails WP:GNG, but it is nonetheless synonymous with Self-reconfiguring modular robot and may be suitable for a redirect. The user who added the {{Primary sources}} tag in February 2021 noted:
While I don't doubt that the DARPA grant CMU & Intel team who worked on this (and wrote every source used on this page) knows what they're doing, we need some kind of third party review of this... especially given the apparent lack of new developments in this area. Then again, the sudden lack of new public papers after a certain point could mean DARPA decided they liked it and is blowing a few hundred billion to develop some vomit-inducing new form of weapon in which case it's probably classified and nobody can review it anyway.

- Reason: Per Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2023_April_17#Category:Loriciel_games, where both participants noted that Virtual Studio was a later name of Loriciel. In fact, this category was tagged without ever being formally added to the nomination.
- Gorsi clan: nominated at AfD; notified Hanshingling (talk · contribs) 12:02, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: One of many articles created by problematic user Hanshingling (talk · contribs); see Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive1125#Disruption. Originally prodded for failing WP:GNG and because the creator allegedly used a large language model, it was deprodded by a user who suspiciously deprodded three other articles created by Hanshingling, and who didnot make any actual improvements.
- Category:Apes from language studies: nominated at CfD (CfR); renaming to Category:Individual apes from language studies 12:24, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: All category members except the main, Great ape language, are about individual apes. Other categories about individual animals usually make this explicit.
- Alan Grant (character): nominated at RM; New name: Alan Grant (Jurassic Park) 01:02, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Standard disambiguation for fictional elements is by work title.
- V361 Hydrae: nominated at RfD; Target: List of stars in Hydra (notified); notified Lithopsian (talk · contribs) 01:51, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: This star is not mentioned in the list, but it is linked from Subdwarf B star, PG 1047+003, and V391 Pegasi.
- Chink (slur): nominated at RM; New name: Chink 02:58, 30 April 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Moved without discussion, and without sufficient evidence that it is primary over Fracture in terms of encyclopedic significance. In particular, Fracture does not mention the term. If this move is upheld, then Chink (disambiguation) will need to be moved to the base title.
- 11 Piscis Austrini: nominated at RfD; Target: Piscis Austrinus (notified); notified InterstellarGamer12321 (talk · contribs) 09:50, 30 April 2023 (UTC)

- Kepler-445: nominated at RfD; Target: Kepler-445d (notified); notified Kepler-1229b (talk · contribs) 07:09, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Currently, there are 2 other articles about planets in the same system, but there is a proposal at Talk:Kepler-445d#Merge_needed to merge all of them into a single article about the system.
- Pr 0211: nominated at RfD; Target: Pr0211 b (notified); notified Kepler-1229b (talk · contribs) 08:10, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: There is an article about another planet in the system, Pr0211 c. The recommended solution would be to create a new article about the system, like we did at Kepler-277. An alternative would be to merge both planets into a single article about the system.
- Horror game: nominated at RM; New name: Horror video game 20:04, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: There are horror games that are not video games. This dispute arose at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2023_May_6#Category:Horror_games, where an objection was raised to the proposal based on a concern about the name of this article.
- KIC 10001893: nominated at RM; New name: Kepler-429 15:26, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: WP:STARNAMES provides no clear guidance here, but seems to favor names that are easily human-readable. All other Kepler planetary host stars seem to follow this convention.

- Reason: Most other articles in Category:Qualification for cricket competitions that end with a capital Q word use Qualifier instead of Qualification, including 2016 Asia Cup Qualifier and 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier; as do 3 of the 4 subcategories. - List of mainstream films with skiing scenes: nominated at AfD; notified TCO (talk · contribs) 19:59, 30 May 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: While the topic of ski films is notable, this seems to be an indiscriminate list and it seems doubtful that the references could justify a list of films that happen to feature a skiing scene.
- Category:Before Common Era assassinated politicians: nominated at CfD (CfM); merging to Category:Assassinated politicians by millennium; notified Thinker78 (talk · contribs) 21:09, 30 May 2023 (UTC)

- Srebrenica genocide.: nominated at RfD; Target: Srebrenica massacre (notified); notified Blackbirdxd (talk · contribs) 18:32, 4 June 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Was apparently created by moving the redirect Srebrenica genocide to this title and then reverting, so CSD G6 may apply. Otherwise similar to the precedent in 2017 to delete Flag of the District of Columbia. with a period at the end to Flag of the District of Columbia.

- Fifth Industrial Revolution: nominated at AfD; notified Jean.julius (talk · contribs) 12:11, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: An RfC held at this article's talk page raised concerns about the claims that the Fourth Industrial Revolution are "failing", but then it was discovered that the entire article is resting on flimsy sourcing, and its topic is probably just a meaningless buzzword that should either be deleted outright or redirected to coiner Klaus Schwab. The discussion has been copied verbatim to the talk page of this AfD.
- Category:Medically important anaerobes: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified Sorens~enwiki (talk · contribs) 12:38, 20 June 2023 (UTC)

- Beach Clash: nominated at AfD; notified RJaguar3 (talk · contribs) 14:52, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: Another non-notable game show. According to TenPoundHammer (talk · contribs):
A ProQuest search for "Beach Clash" + Tv show returned only passing mentions, one-sentence announcements, and TV listings.Only 32 hits on Google for "Beach Clash" + "David Hirsch", and the Encyclopedia of TV Game Shows is the only one on GBooks. Newspapers.com only turned up TV Guide listings.

- Interdimensional being: nominated at AfD; notified Carrot Lord (talk · contribs) 15:53, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: The article is mostly WP:OR with only two references: a ufology book, and a book about Buffy the Vampire Slayer which I have not otherwise attempted to verify. I have not attempted to assess notability as a literary trope or as a Spiritualist belief like that connection to the IH suggested in the Jeffrey J. Kripal source at the IH article. I brought this to AfD after a user raised a concern at Wikipedia:Fringe_theories/Noticeboard#Single_top_for_interdimensional_hypothesis/being that the article is also too similar to Interdimensional hypothesis, which is the claim that UFOs are interdimensional phenomena.
- Copyright on religious works: nominated at AfD; notified 82.92.181.129 (talk · contribs) 07:52, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: There is reason to believe that the intersection of copyright law and religious texts is notable (e.g. [1]), but as this article stands, it is entirely WP:OR and WP:SYNTH and would have to be rewritten in its entirety to fit how reliable sources discuss the topic.
- Template:R with Wikidata item: nominated at TfD; notified Elli (talk · contribs) 13:42, 20 July 2023 (UTC)

- Category:Athos manuscripts: nominated at CfD (CfR); renaming to Category:Manuscripts held at Mount Athos; notified Catalographer (talk · contribs) 04:19, 23 July 2023 (UTC)

- Category:Manuscripts from the Cairo Geniza: nominated at CfD (CfR); renaming to Category:Manuscripts held by the Cairo Geniza; notified Petri Krohn (talk · contribs) 04:26, 23 July 2023 (UTC)

- Β-Butyrolactone: nominated at RM; New name: Beta-Butyrolactone 10:27, 16 August 2023 (UTC)

- Coat of arms of Lebanon: nominated at AfD; notified Stan2525 (talk · contribs) 20:03, 24 August 2023 (UTC)
- Reason: The existence of this topic is in serious doubt. At Lebanon, the user Beshogur (talk · contribs) has repeatedly removed the coat of arms on the basis that the Constitution of Lebanon doesn't define one (whough the US constitution doesn't define the state symbols, either), and that the symbol was unsourced. The only reference in this stub is circular, and the source added in an August 24 revision at the main article includes fictional content.[3]
