- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

editHi, my name’s Squawk Guard. You recently made a "citation needed" edit in the plot for Murina (film). I wanted to let you know that for the Plot section of films the Wikipedia style guide doesn’t require citations because the movie is the citation itself. You can check it out in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Film, but I changed the Murina (film) in the mean time. Anyway, I saw you a new-ish user too. Great to be editing it ya SquawkGuard (talk) 14:23, 11 November 2024 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Shaws username. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Vernonia amygdalina, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Shaws username . talk . 22:29, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for calling my attention.
- I'll include a citation now. 美しい歌 (talk) 22:49, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Philipnelson99. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Sola Sobowale seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Philipnelson99 (talk) 20:51, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- Ok, thank you. 美しい歌 (talk) 21:01, 18 March 2024 (UTC)

Pushin POV
editHi dearest editor, and welcome to Wikipedia.
I see you edit Nigeria related articles and I than you for that. However, inputting words like "Southeastern, southwestern" part of Nigeria isn't necessary but because you have continually used it in many articles per your contributions is awakening. Those are not included in the sources and whatever not sourced is called original research. They are known as well and there is no need for them. I will advise you channel into content creation, clean up, etc, to help you learn more about the policies and guidelines. You can also join WP: WikiProject Nigeria. If you have any question, or needs help, message my talk page and I will be ready to respond to any query. Regards. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 22:37, 8 May 2024 (UTC)
- @美しい歌, even after advising you, yet you kept adding unnecessary personal point of view. I rather case, I think this may go to WP:ANI for proper discussion. Like I said, it isn't bad but it is also not acceptable in this Encyclopedia. I told you it is called push in point of view (pov), and unless that, you need to stop this. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 17:07, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, sorry I'm just seeing all your messages now. I thought that will help to ascertain the particular location since someone who is a non-Nigerian might be interested to know. But since it doesn't sit well with the rules, I will make necessary adjustment.
- Thank you very much for your kind advise 美しい歌 (talk) 05:56, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- I love in particular how you edit. I will plead to use same way in adding small sources to articles lacking them or cleaning up those articles. It can help Wikipedia as a whole. Regards. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 06:29, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
A barnstar for you!
editThe Resilient Barnstar | |
Your resilience after the warning firstly, the later advise was seen all around you. I, SafariScribe hereby award you this Barnster as a thanks for your improvement so far. Adding small things like dates and roles to "film actors" perhaps can help improve the Encyclopedia. You can do more than that and I can see it through you. Kudos! Congratulations. - Thank you so much, this means a lot to me. I'll do well to put in my best to the growth of the community.
- Thanks for the advise and encouragement.
- Best regards. 美しい歌 (talk) 14:18, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
