October 2017

Hello, I'm BeywheelzLetItRip. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Björk, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Also your grammar is very weird. If you want help with English, you can ask an administrator. Thank you. BeywheelzLetItRip (What is it?) 02:32, 26 October 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jamiroquai, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cosmic Girl (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Jamiroquai Notable Lineup.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Jamiroquai Notable Lineup.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 03:00, 19 March 2018 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Jamiroquai Notable Lineup.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Jamiroquai Notable Lineup.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:37, 20 March 2018 (UTC)

Incomplete DYK nomination

Hello! Your submission of Template:Did you know nominations/Jamiroquai at the Did You Know nominations page is not complete; if you would like to continue, please link the nomination to the nominations page as described in step 3 of the nomination procedure. DYK for Jamiroquai

On 7 May 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Jamiroquai, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the British jazz-funk band Jamiroquai performed a concert on an aircraft travelling at 1017 km/h (632 mph), setting the Guinness World Record for "fastest concert"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Jamiroquai. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Jamiroquai), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

I saw your statement on the Bjork talk page and I agree with you so much Bjork changed so much [in a good way] once homogenic came out so I thank you for putting that out there.

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:11, 17 July 2018 (UTC)

Critical reception sections

Hi 100cellsman. Further to your point at the Friends GAR, I just wanted to say it wasn't as if I was dismissing your concerns. I agree with the gist of what you were saying, actually, and the approach I was advocating was, for the most part, based on what I've seen done here on Wikipedia over the years. Ideally, if we've got enough comments from critics to be able to be selective and include only those that offer something informative, beyond a writer's personal opinion, then those are the comments we'd include.

At Friends, I'd say we could lose Griffiths/Record Mirror's description of one of the songs as "the most disappointing Beach Boys track of the year". It's referring to just one song, after all, and I think the message is clear enough without resorting to a subjective opinion about a single track and nothing more. On the other hand, given the Maharishi/TM theme that runs throughout the album article, maybe it is worth highlighting the unfavourable reception given to such an explicit statement by the band … JG66 (talk) 03:59, 9 August 2018 (UTC)

JG66: I totally understood why those comments I mentioned should be left in there though. It would make the article less broad to not include them as some readers would be interested in such comments.100cellsman (talk) 23:28, 9 August 2018 (UTC)

Marshmello

Hello, 100. I've fixed the issues you raised in the GA nom of Marshmello. I'd appreciate if you could take another look to see if it is now passable or if it needs more work. Thanks. Flooded with them hundreds 12:06, 27 December 2018 (UTC)

I just quickly failed the article because I thought the problems wouldn't be fixed immediately. (I feel like I tend to be mean in these reviews.) It looks fine to me now. I'm not totally sure if I should list the article without a nomination prior, but I can break the rule.100cellsman (talk) 12:17, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for passing it! The {{GA}} template says "Do not add this template to an article if it has not had a review on a subpage of the article's talk page." Perhaps the "not listed" entry should be removed and the GA1 subpage be linked to the "listed" entry (to get the bot to process?)? Flooded with them hundreds 13:33, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
You may have seen that I changed the template but the bot still hasn't processed it. I mean I'm a decent editor, but am no technical expert, so I don't know what to tell you.100cellsman (talk) 13:50, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

Find more: Unreviewed featured articles

I see you have submitted articles to Featured article review in the past six months. Here is a template listing FAs (and dates) with talk page notifications that a Featured article review is needed. According to the FAR instructions, after waiting five to seven days to see if anyone engages to address the issues, anyone can bring an article to FAR, subject to a) no more than one nomination every two weeks; and b) no more than four nominations on the page at one time, unless permission for more is given by a FAR coordinator. Regards, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 21:28, 28 January 2020 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Stereolab, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Ringer (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
