Hello, I'm Dudhhr. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Answers in Genesis—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. dudhhrContribs(he/they) 21:34, 3 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Nothing about what I wrote was vandalism. True, I do have a history of vandalism but I have changed and I want to be a good editor that contributes to neutrality. I thought it was unfair to use some of the opinionated language in that article. I just made some slight changes to make it a more balanced article. I think that Wikipedia should give people the facts and let them decide for themselves what organizations or religions are correct. As for now, I am bringing back my edits. If you think what I wrote was unconstructive, let me know why and I will take care of it. Thanks! 35.134.67.138 (talk) 00:07, 4 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Answers in Genesis shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.   Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Answers in Genesis. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 00:14, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I never stated any sort of opinion. Where did I state an opinion? I think that the article was very strongly stating an opinion before, and I feel like I made the language more neutral. 35.134.67.138 (talk) 00:22, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Answers in Genesis. dudhhrContribs(he/they) 00:55, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
