The Collider article indeed supports the passage that indicates that Miles got his powers in the Marvel's Spider-Man episode "Ultimate Spider-Man", which means that citations needs to go before that passage. You also provided no rationale for removing the word "episode," or for changing the phrase "second season" to "season two". "Minor Changes"

Please stop going in and drastically changing the same Wikipedia pages like Tarantula and Chameleon with no regard for consistency. I don't appreciate having to go in and fix your mistakes. Please understand that I am not targeting you specifically in any way. I am simply trying my best to keep Wikipedia free of trivial details and bad grammar, among other things. I acknowledge that I also return to certain Wikipedia pages that I previously edited to make changes and that you have made constructive edits. However, several of your so-called "minor changes" are strongly leaning towards vandalism in certain cases. For example, there's no consistency in how you word Chameleon disguising himself as Maria Corazon and using the Tarantula battle suit. Every time you edit information pertaining to them, no two edits of yours ever look the same. Given your history for vandalism despite your constructive edits, as well as bad grammar and use of trivial details in your most recent edits, I'm not sure what to think. If anything, please be more careful of your grammar as well as WP:TRIVIA, WP:FANCRUFT, and WP:CONCISE. Blazewing16 (talk) 00:04, 30 October 2020 (UTC)

This is getting ridiculous. On top of having far too much trivial/unnecessary material, your edits are getting long-winded, which violates WP:CONCISE. Why did you change "...to help his foster father, the Red Skull" to "to help the Red Skull, who is his foster father"? The former is fine as is. The latter is unnecessarily long. That's like turning "Abe helped his friend Bob" into "This person, Abe, helped Bob, who happens to be his bestest friend in the world". Wikipedia is about having the information explained as concisely as possible. Not with using all the words to fulfill some imaginary word count. Not to mention, you're now involved an edit war to maintain Maria Corazon's (currently) non-existent status as the 2017 Spider-Man series' incarnation of Tarantula, which is also dipping into original research, which basically means making changes solely based on your own theories and beliefs of how something works as opposed to proper, reputable sources. If she does become Tarantula or there's a source confirming she is supposed to be the Tarantula released later on, that's fine. Just provide that source when you add the information. But right now, you're assuming she is the series' definitive version of Tarantula. And don't even get me started on why "Minor changes" and "Major changes" are still not sufficient explanations to explain your changes. If you hate Wikipedia so much, why do you continue using it? Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Edi Summaries.

Just wanted to inform you that "Good detailed edits. Please leave as is." is not a good edit summary. This is a misleading edit summary, meaning people might undo them because you made bad edits and lied to the Wikipedia community. Also, you can't ask people to leave it as is because people will go in and change it anyway. You can't stop them from doing that, especially if they have a legitimate change that needs to be made or an addition that needs to be added. There is nothing wrong with calling Peter Parker the original Spider-Man and Miles Morales the second Spider-Man because that is literally what they are. Please stop what you did to Jefferson Davis' page because you will confuse other Wikipedia readers. Again, I concede that you have made good edits. Why do you insist on adding badly sourced and/or unsourced material, such as Phil Urich's supposed appearance in Marvel's Spider-Man? That sounds like it's your personal opinion. Plus, episode refs do NOT count. Yes, they are prevalent, but that doesn't mean you can use them all the time. Also, you cannot make additions with a "citation request" either. Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge.
