Problem with login

Hi EricV89;
I found you you as an on-line admin. I just logged and when I tried to use huggle, it didn´t work. I logged again and tried to use the rollback feature direct at the article (via browser) and received the follow message:
There seems to be a problem with your login session;
this action has been canceled as a precaution against session hijacking.
I checked my rollback rights and it's OK. Can you help me? Thanks, Caiaffa (talk) 01:13, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Oh. I'm not an admin but I think I can help. Try logging in and out of your account. If your rollback rights are active on your account then it shouldn't be a problem with your user name. If nothing else works, please visit the help desk or contact an actual administrator to see what issues your account has, if any. --01:24, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
It works. :), Caiaffa (talk) 01:42, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

No sorry, I accidently clicked the wrong button, LOL. I don't even know what page I was looking at. I didn't mean to revert it. I'm in the processing of undoing my revert and taking the template off your page. Sorry for the incovience. --eric (mailbox) 01:38, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Is Gurch really retired?

Hi, Eric. When you added the retired template on Gurch's talk page, I was concerned. Did he tell you privately, or is it what you believe? Thanks, SchfiftyThree 21:56, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

Hey there, yes, Gurch left on the 31st of July, he requested his user page be deleted and his talk page be deleted has well. The admin deleted his user page but blanked his talk page. So yes, unfortunately, Wikipedia lost a great developer. We don't know if he will be back ever has he stated per here sometime last month. --eric (mailbox) 21:59, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

Clear Channel Communications update

Eric...

This latest news and information is very relevant to the CC entry...

I know I didn't post it correctly with the footnote...

Would you please place this information somewhere within that listing?

They now have 900 radio stations, not 1,200 ... they are now a private corporation...etc

Please advise. Thanks.

Clear Channel Sale Closes San Antonio-based Clear Channel Communications Inc., the nation’s largest radio station operator, has finally been taken private.

Bain Capital Partners and Thomas H. Lee Partners closed a deal to acquire the publicly traded company for $17.9 billion on July 30. Investors would be paid $36 a share, while the equity firms assumed another $5.9 billion in debt.

The company’s chief executive, Mark Mays, son of Lowry Mays, one of its founders, and some other members of management will stay on the job.

The buyout, which was first announced in November 2006, was delayed by price haggling and lawsuits between the company, buyers and banks.

Clear Channel owns about 900 stations and roughly 1 million billboards and outdoor signs worldwide.
You can not post that in the article, you MUST rewrite it! That is copyright infringement and is illegal. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously. Re: Thanks

You're welcome. Please be prepared to discuss with that IP editor, though - if he shows an intent to talk things over before making further edits, he will be unblocked. Hersfold (t/a/c) 23:21, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

LOL, that's why I believe in registration for editing. Maybe he will be like most who get blocked and go away for months, :). I've already told he before I reverted his edits that it was not a POV introduction. Anywho, thanks for the heads-up. Ciao. --eric (mailbox) 23:24, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

Are you kidding?

You think legitimate changes to a page based on factual information are vandalism? The fact that they're being reverted back to WRONG information should be more of a concern to you.

It actually makes me really question the legitimacy of the process when my motives and changes are questioned in such a superficial manner. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.185.45.51 (talk) 23:48, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

You posted a source to a dish, the section in reference, is not talking about any type of food. The chant did not change from couse couse, which is a type of pasta in reference to the official school tradional chant. Sorry, please don't edit it again. Thanks. --eric (mailbox) 23:53, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

The part of the the chant IS in reference to the dish that is local to South Louisiana. That is very evident to those of us from the area. It's actually a bit disturbing that you're so adamant about your version of this.

You want to justify the fact that you called my edit vandalism as well? According to your links, my well intentioned (and correct) edit does not qualify as such. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.185.45.51 (talk) 00:01, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Saying a link in a edit summary does not source anything. You mentioned a link to a receipe that does nothing for the edit you made. It was useless. --eric (mailbox) 00:08, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

I would love to provide an additional reference, but the word is a colloquialism and is found in Cajun-English dictionaries which aren't widely available. That, and you've branded my edits as vandalism already, so any additional edits will likely be treated as such. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.185.45.51 (talk) 00:13, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

No it doesn't. The templates on talk pages are just that, templates, but since you are willing to negiotiate and talk about this, I can remove the template off your talk page and let you find a reliable source, if you can and let you continue editing. Deal? --eric (mailbox) 00:17, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Deal. I really am new at this. Do my references belong in the Edit Summary box? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.185.45.51 (talk) 00:18, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Great! No, references belong in the article's reference section which will be automatically there when you cite the source you put next to the text in the article. Edit summaries is like a little summary of what you did to the article, for example "added additional information to History section" -- edit summaries are what is displayed to editors of Wikipedia. This is what we see when you edit. Also, Wikipedia has something called a Manual of Style that we use to format article and sections, this includes sourcing links. So, on that note, since you are so patient, I will go ahead and blank your talk page of this whole mess including the warning templates, so you can start a new if you wish too. AND! I would also recomend you create an account by creating a user name. It is simple and easy to do, all you need is an e-mail address to confirm your account. That way editors can establish your edits suffiently and you don't have to continue to edit from you I.P. address, which is public. Ok? Feel free to message me with any questions. Thanks. --eric (mailbox) 00:26, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Will do. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.185.45.51 (talk) 00:28, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

If the image has been used a promo,it's not free, period. Promos can never be freely licensed. The person who uploaded that image on Flickr likely doesn't know what the CC licenses mean. XxJoshuaxX (talk) 18:00, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

This image was already checked by a commons administrator, the license is valid. --eric (mailbox) 18:01, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
Yes,it was checked from Flickr. The Flickr uploader doesn't know what copyright is. XxJoshuaxX (talk) 18:02, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Soulja Boy image

I brought the image to the attention of a Commons admin, User:Collard. The image was determined to be a copyright violation, and was deleted. GlassCobra 18:37, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

That's sad. It was a really good picture. I uploaded it yesterday and it was still there so I figured I would continue to use it since it's license was free arts. Although, I don't know why the page still had a SD template when it was under review. Thank you for the information. Happy editing! --eric (mailbox) 18:45, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Tools

I've updated User:Smith609 and WP:REFTOOL to make this clearer. It looks like you've installed the scripts okay – You have cleared your cache, haven't you? (Ctrl-F5) Martin (Smith609 – Talk) 18:39, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I was able to get the Ref. Tool to work just fine but the other one I can't see. It seems every time I look at a article I have to CTRL F5 to see the tools, which usually isn't the case. --eric (mailbox) 18:53, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
Bizarre! I'm afraid I'm not sure what to suggest; they work fine for me. You could try asking at the village pump. Martin (Smith609 – Talk) 18:58, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
I know! :-D -- it's not just your bot's tools but my tools for Lupin's Vandal tools has well that disappear unless I bypass my cache. I think I should stop emulating IE7 on IE8, it is really horrible. I will try to reload and fiddle around with my browser. Thank you for your help in helping me figure out the ref. tools. Mmhmm. :) --eric (mailbox) 19:01, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Aw, the turtle page is gone! I even looked up the youtube video that was part of the campaign :) Yeah, it was a crappy page, but it made me smile. James Garner

Hi, and thanks for trying to intercede in the edit war between the two anonymous IPs on this article. The edit warring and contentiousness were between the IPs, and at least some of it appears to be from a contentious confirmed sock puppet (HarveyCarter). I'm not sure that any change in it would have resolved the conflict on the page. It really was entirely out of the context of the article. The changes weren't, however a conflict of interest, and removing the descriptive word connected to Garner's stroke isn't covered in WP:PA. The citation given supported the use of the word "mild", or more specifically "minor." I've returned the word minor, as it is exactly what the source says. As I said, I realize you were trying to avert the battle, I just wanted to explain why I added the word minor to the sentence. I think I know who the 207.69.137.20 belongs to, and unfortunately, if I'm right, he is correct in his identification of a HarveyCarter sock puppet, but in his former zealousness to keep the sock banned, ended up getting himself banned as well. It's a crappy situation. Thanks again for trying to help. Wildhartlivie (talk) 07:41, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Yes, thank you for returning the word. I was going to do it myself after they stoped editing(were blocked) but I must of forgot becuase after one of the IPs got blocked, they appeared to have hoped onto another IP(another computer perhaps) and continued to edit my user page and the article again. Another admin eventually blocked that brand new IP for vandalism. Anywho, I figured taking the word out would of stopped their bickering, but was wrong, considoring they continued to attack each other by their messages in their edit summaries and continuing their edit war. I am not familar with User:HarveyCarter but if that anon. editor wished to to have that user checked, he did it incorrectly before he was blocked, has stated by the admin who denied his unblock request. Posting the sockpuppet template once was fine, but posting it 100 times on the talk page was inappropriate and constituted vandalism. Anywho, I believe they were both temp. blocked so I suppose they can follow the correct procedure next time and not go back to edit warring a single adjective in an article(Yesh!! :-D). Thank you for you assistance has well. Happy editing!--eric (mailbox) 10:02, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
I know, I saw fairly much everything that transpired when I checked it out. I've gone ahead and tagged the 92.11.166.122 page as a possible sock of HarveyCarter. It trace routes identically to the 92.11.x range which is among the IPs buried in the user talk page history here. The user of those accounts comes in and does this sort of thing on various film star related pages. Sock puppets are maddening. :) Thanks for understanding. Wildhartlivie (talk) 10:55, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
That's good. I took a look at all of his former names. It has become evident he really has no other interest that creating new IPs and vandalising Wikipedia. That must be become boring at some point. Ciao. :) --eric (mailbox) 17:34, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Ollie from Cape Town

Eric -- I really think the article on the Boere-Afrikaners in South Africa should be rewritten by someone looking at it from an outside, neutral and unpolitical perspective. Most Afrikaners would find it laughable to make a distinction between Afrikaners and the so-called Boers and their offspring. At best it could be said that some South Africans feel there is as such a distinction. The whole idea is very much politically driven by hardcore extremists. In short, people believing in such an ideology come from a hyperconservative fringe minority and to portray their beliefs as absolute facts like it is done in some passages in the article ... well, it's just not in anybody's interest except their own. It could nearly be analogical to giving the Nazis a forum to state why their Herrenvolk ideology is the true one, but maybe such a comparison is a bit too extreme. Ollie in Cape Town (e-mail dugeot A T iafrica dot com) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.243.11.118 (talk) 20:52, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

By all means you are free to rewrite the article if you feel that certain sections are biased. However, this edit you made to the Boere-Afrikaner article constituted vandalism, therefor, was reverted as such. If you would like to discuss the neutrality of the article, you can do so on it's talk page. Your edit was unconstructive. I can only provide you with assistance in Wikipeda's editing guidelines etc. -- not to debate a subject of an article. Thank you. Happy editing! --eric (mailbox) 02:32, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Edward Furlong

Wikipedia is predicated on facts, not on your assessment, or opinion, of what is, or is not "constructive".

If you want to discuss this further, please let me know.

Thank you for trying to tell me what Wikipedia is. I think I've been knowing what Wikipedia is much longer than you have. If Edward Furlong is of multi-races then that cateogory is appropriate. Listing Mexicans as not a race is purely idiotic and if you were WikiSavy you would of known why your edit was reverted. --eric (mailbox) 08:11, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Eric, Mexicans are NOT a race. If you would like some scientific verification of this, I will be happy to provide you with such.

Where did you reach the conclusion that Mexicans are a race? Did you learn this in school? Did someone tell you this?

And please do not insult Me! I do not insult you about your poor writing and misspellings. And I did not mock you about thinking Mexicans are a race. Please be civil! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.232.145.127 (talk) 03:29, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

Hi Eric. Please make sure you take care when using automated tools such as Huggle. Article edits

Hi Eric,

I am editing the article you mentioned due to the fact that it is copyright infringement. The entire article is copy / paste from a website that clearly states that users are not permitted to do so. You can review the terms here http://mto.org -Preceding unsigned comment added by A1s2d3111 (talkcontribs) 07:08, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

No, it's okay. I removed the material. It was unsourced and a huge POV edit. It's alright now. --eric (mailbox) 07:11, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
Wait, you seem to be talking about another article. See you talk page. --eric (mailbox) 07:19, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

Eric please help... I need to remove the material form article MTO Shahmaghsoudi ASAP. The material is copy pasted from the website of the organization at http://mto.org It is stated very clearly on the first page that they do not allow copy paste of the content of the website. I am new to Wikipedia and am not sure what steps I need to take to get this and a few other pages deleted. I thank you in advance for your help with this.

Ok, I understand your concern. If you think the entire article is a copyright infringement violation, you can nominate it for deletion by visting WP:AfD and nominating it for deletion per copyright vio. Then, you can express your opinion by discussing it on the article's talk page. You just can't remove material from the article. That is vandalism. That's why your edits are being reverted. Now, you can follow the steps at WP:AfD to nominate a page for deletion. Ok? --eric (mailbox) 07:26, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

I got it Eric. thank you for your help with this. I will take those steps. —Preceding unsigned comment added by A1s2d3111 (talkcontribs) 07:30, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome. --eric (mailbox) 01:19, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Why did u undo my edits to LMU?

I wanted to add an alumni section as an improvement. cheers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.75.220.22 (talk) 06:39, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Becuase the list of past Student Body Presidents' names were irrelevant to the article. You can only add a notable alumni section and that edit did not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline. It is not neccessary to add those names. Please read over Wikipedia's Manual of Script to understand how to edit correctly. Thank you. --eric (mailbox) 06:42, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

I think you are confused. My additions were notable i just didnt link them correctly but now i have. i still dont get why some other guy took it down again straight away tho?

No. In regards to the Student Body Presidents list, that was unconstructive and by notable, I mean the people in the list are irrelevant. There is no need to put all those names up. It makes the article look unorganized and messy. --eric (mailbox) 06:52, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Actually, you seem to have me confused with somebody else, In regards to the edit I was refering too, it is another person. I don't know why your edits were reverted. Take a look at the messages posted to you in regards to them. --eric (mailbox) 06:55, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Please look at this edit history of Leeds Metropolitan University to see what i'm talking about. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.75.220.22 (talk) 06:57, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

I did, and as I said, the revert was meant to go to another school article and I did not mean to rollback the edit you made. I was refering to another article that I was monitoring. Anywho, since you requested information I left some basic editing info. on the top of your user page. Read over it first before you continue! It would really help to avoid further disruptions. Happy editing! --eric (mailbox) 07:02, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Quick Question

Hi there Eric, Iv'e noticed that you used HG for removing vandalism, I am a new user to Hg, and was wondering if you could give me any information regarding filtering options, for example, instead of filtering all the posts by Ip addresses, could I filter new edits that contain offensive language? Or certain words used? Any Info would be great, thanks so much for your time. Touch Of Light (talk) 20:08, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Hi there! I'm not sure Huggle actually contains a word filter but I believe Huggle only monitors edits of IPs and newly registered accounts, not so much established editors. However, you can requests new features, such as a filter, on the feedback page. They continually add new tools every updated version they release. It looked nothing it did now. If you continue to use it often then you'll get whitelisted. But about the filter, I don't believe there is an option for that. You can try to look under the options tab. Happy editing! --eric (mailbox) 20:15, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks so much, Really needed some help. Touch Of Light (talk) 20:19, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
No problem. Feel free to stop by and ask any questions you may have. I constantly use Huggle so if you need help, just ask :). You'll get use to navigating it. Ciao. --eric (mailbox) 20:20, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. I have a decent computer (2.0 GHz dualcore; 2 GB RAM) and an excellent internet connection, (5Mb/sec) so I can usually get stuff pretty fast. And, yes, I'm still awake, although I probably should be, since it is 1:30 am here, but oh, well. It seems that there is more vandalism really late (or really early, if you're using UTC), so I try to do what I can. Cheers! J.delanoygabsadds 05:37, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Yeah man, they all seem to come out during the night time hours. Happy editing! --eric (mailbox) 05:39, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thanks for the barnstar! I tell you, Huggle is very different late at night with only a few editors patrolling vandalism. Nonetheless, I appreciate the act of kindness   Since I'm here, I present you with:

Much appreciated. :) --eric (mailbox) 10:10, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Gachi Ferrari

The language you used in your message to me is not civil and I find it unacceptable. For many people, Ms Ferrari was an important model and TV personality. (Anybody for deleting Vanna White or whatever she was called?) Will try and contact editors to see what can be done to avoid the deletion. elpincha (talk) 21:10, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

The language is automatically sent to you when a article you created it nominated for deletion. It is a automated template done by Wikipedia. This is no way is meant to be uncivil. You might want to keep this in mind when recieving future templates/warnings. Also, since more than half the article was in Spanish it was a valid canidate for deletion. However, I decieded to tag it for translation but instead another editor just simply removed the Spanish text. This is the English Wikipedia version and articles MUST be written in English form. Now it is considorely a stub article. So please feel free to expand it in English. Thanks. --eric (mailbox) 22:36, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
Oops. I did not notice the Spanish copy until too late. My edits were English only. Indeed, things like that should not stand. elpincha (talk) 23:56, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
No problem, Happy editing! --eric (mailbox) 00:53, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

Futures of Wrestling

Excuse me, this is regarding a page on the Futures of Wrestling. This company is a wrestling promotion in the Northern New Jersey area. It is in the 'speedy deletion criteria' for being a club. It is a club. It is a wresting club for fans of wrestling and professional wrstlers to put on a show. I have a direct link to the website [3]It is legit, it is real, and I really hope you will let me continue work, and keep this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Futures of Wrestling (talkcontribs) 05:10, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

If you have sources, great! However you create a article with only 4 or 5 sentences. This is not a article at all. Therefore, it will most likely be deleted becuase of it. I recommend you never great articles if you have not read and understood Wikipedia's editing guidelines and requirements of notability. I will leave some information at the top of the page if you wish to re-create the article again after it has been deleted. Ok? Thanks. --eric (mailbox) 05:20, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
So yeah, it was deleted per nomination. However you can re-create the article after you know how to edit and create articles correctly. So don't feel bad it got deleted :). Just take the time to learn about Wikipedia. --eric (mailbox) 05:24, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Cheers for adding the Chill template to that thread on AN/I about me. Seems I am everything from an anti-semite (from mashing the keyboard when writing Jeffpw's name) to a drug addict, due to calling myself The High Commander, which I infact got from 3rd Rock from the Sun, it is Dick Solomon's official title in the show. However it is good to see that photo of the 'necklace' has been deleted, with some people forming very good arguments as to why it should not be included. It seems the people who want it included can come up with nothing better than "WP is not censored". --The High Commander (talk) 01:30, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome. I agree, that comment did not have any substance behind it. And yes, some do sound like a broken record with that sentence. :) --eric (mailbox) 02:07, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

Hyderabad, India

I do apologize if I stepped on anyone's toes when I made my edit. When I first reverted the changes I did not notice the link and only saw the description of the attraction, and assumed it was just nonsense placed in the article. My only concern now is that the listing of the attraction (and even many of the attractions on the list) sound very much like an ad (non-NPOV). Any ideas on the topic? (-a copy of this message is posted on both user talk pages-) Bvlax2005 (talk) 11:34, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Hi, the information you put in seems to be ramblings of the subject. You can rewrite it with more infomation regarding it in a formal meaning. --eric (mailbox) 11:37, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
I think there is a bit of confusion. The only change I made to Hyderabad, India was to revert an edit that looked like spam. Seen here[4]. I apologize for the terrible linking, I'm not too sure if there is a more direct way to link to a previous revision of an article. Bvlax2005 (talk) 11:52, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

i changed it back

Insert non-formatted text here

before you even sent the email i had changed it back. so there you go. and there it was. i had changed it back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fannyapples (talkcontribs) 11:36, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

It doesn't matter. You intentionally vandalised the article. A warning is warranted. Please do not continue to vandalise Wikipedia. --eric (mailbox) 11:41, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Great... :S

Re my edit on Reference ranges for blood tests

As much as I value your surely countles good contributions, I don't think you should defend information that is just obviously wrong. I'd flagged the information for review, but since this is vandalism and I don't know the correct value, i've deleted it.

Unless you find it's important that Wikipedia be filled with information, irrespective of it's correctness, i think it's for the better...

Cheers, Michael —Preceding unsigned comment added by Michi zh (talkcontribs) 11:38, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Yes, your edit was unconstructive. Since you are not familiar with Wikipedia's editing guidlines, per here, constitutes vandalism. Article space can not include your personal comments. If you feel this information is wrong, you are to discuss it on the talk page instead not just take this material out of the article with no validation. --eric (mailbox) 11:47, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Surely... but where would wikipedia (or anything in the world) were always discussed, and nobody took action?Michi zh (talk) 12:07, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

I can not debate with you your feelings in regards to Wikipedia. I can only tell you policy. Thank you. --eric (mailbox) 12:09, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Re your AIV reports

Thank you for helping out with fighting vandalism on our encyclopedia. However, two of your recent reports to WP:AIV (here) contained no evidence of vandalism. Please be careful to check that the editor you are reporting is engaged in current, ongoing vandalism, and has been sufficiently warned - it's especially important to double-check when using automated tools such as Huggle. All the best, EyeSerenetalk 11:53, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

See WP:AIAV. I may of sent the wrong report for the wrong user for the first one I believe, I apologize, but the second one was becuase they were already issued a final warning prior to the revert to the same article. --eric (mailbox) 12:05, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Captain picard's bald head

Oops, I see that now. Thanks for the note. I saw his contributions and was like, "Eek! Must act now!" Cheers... justinfr (talk) 12:16, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Yes, :). Actually, that person is IP hopping and creating new accounts with different IPs and spamming with the twinkle program. --eric (mailbox) 12:18, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Yes, see your talk page for my response. ;) --eric (mailbox) 13:26, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

User_Talk:GSK

Sorry about that - I assumed that removing the information was considered vandalism. Thank you for correcting that. --The One They Call GSK // talk to me // 15:53, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

No worries. Happy editing! --eric (mailbox) 21:39, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

The Grey House!

Yes. Grey. Not Gray. Silly New World dwellers.

Anyhoo, ye, it means:

  • The Grey House
    • Or Cottage.
      • Or Settlment.

It's Scottish.

    • Or North of England.

See the stuff I've learned! LOL

--James Brown Monster, 20:39, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

    • P.S. My IQ is exactly the same as yours! That's going in a UserBox!
