Sharon/Victor

Hey, just thought I'd point out to you that Sharon and Victor's marriage has not yet legally ended. On Friday's episode, Sharon told Doris that she was "Mrs. Victor Newman," and she replied: "Only on paper." And now that Sharon is suing Victor, the marriage is not officially over yet. And when it does end, it will have to be listed as "2012, 2012" because they were not married once, but twice, so "2012" is false. Anyway, what are you thinking of Y&R? I'm liking the additions to the opening credits, it's about damn time. I was sad that even Doris thinks Sharon is to blame and that "she didn't raise her better." They are have been annulled as of the most recent episode. Yes i have seen that. Also, both their marriages were annulled this year so writing 2012, 2012 seems pointless. It verifies that she married him twice in the lead and text, so no need. It's not false, it's just simplified. Their 1-month marriages don't account for much anyway. Even if they were still married, it makes sense writing it as (2012), because 2012– means 2012-present and 2012 is present. End of rant, what I basically mean is either way, it's styled as 2012. Lol. I'm going to add a note to address their being married twice. Yes, I've been waiting years for the credits to be updated. And I love it. I've literally wanted them to be updated since 08 or even further before. Yes, Doris is a bitch. How has Sharon 'turned out this way'? Sharon was raised fine even tho she was rebellious as a teen and had a baby. When she came to Genoa City she was practically perfect and amazing. It's not Doris' fault, it's MAB's fault. She wanted to make Sharon the whore of Genoa City and most hated character or something? I hate MAB. C97, u really should get twitter so we can discuss storylines there. Oh by the way, Sharon Case is so amazing. She saw a fan video I made for her and said she loves it. Love her!! Twitter is really heating up, u dont wanna miss anything more haha.. Eric Braeden and Michael Muhney had a fight/disagreement, and Joshua Morrow said sorry because Michelle Stafford got angry after he said on The Talk that he believes in his heart Nick and Sharon belong together! I have no respect for Michelle anymore, how unprofessional. Plus everyone is telling JG that Dru needs to come back. Hope he considers it! So sorry c97 for the length of this message! We have so much grounds to cover in light of 10K of Y&R. And Sheila! I hope Sheila is coming back. If the writers are smart, they will bring her back! I heard a rumor Sharon is going to burn down the Newman ranch on October 12, 2012. LOL, it's okay that your message was long. Michelle really got angry because Joshua said that? That's pathetic. Actors are allowed to have their own opinions. Grow up. I heard the buzz about fans asking JG to have Dru come back. If Sharon does burn down the Newman ranch, it will just be rebuilt and she'll go back to prison. Is JFP going to continue to destroy Sharon or fix her? But again, how will she ever recover from that? Everyone, literally everyone, hates her. That's a bad way to kick off a new era of writing for the show. The sad thing is everybody on set was upset with MAB's firing. From the looks of that surveillance camera footage, the woman who claimed to be Daisy's mother looks like Patty. And she's definitely making additional appearances since she said: "I'm not crazy. I'll show them." But how would they bring Sheila back? By saying the woman who had surgery to look like Phyllis was someone else? I'm not saying Kimberlin Brown shouldn't return, because she's amazing, but JFP should be focusing on rebuilding the damages that MAB made for four years. For example, letting go the actors that portray pointless characters. Darnell Williams needs to go. Sarge has no point now that Jack is walking. Marco Dapper should've left months ago, Carmine is the stupidest character ever. If anything, he should've arrived in the midst of the Kevin/Angelina mishap. Yes! I always respect Michelle as an actress even though I hated her character,and now I don't! I know...she honestly needs to grow up. Yes, Victoria Rowell seems ready to come back. She's even working out and encouraging fans a lot to speak w/ the new head writers. She has also admitted that Peter (Jack) doesn't want her back — now I have no respect for him either. He is threatening to leave if she returns...and I don't care! Victoria is far more entertaining than Peter and Jack is getting old and boring, he offers nothing new anymore. JFP says Sharon will have a final "mental breakdown" which will be the worst she has had, and after that, a more evolved Sharon will return to us, and she will find "love" again. I hope it's with Nick or Adam...putting her with another love interest is a WASTE of time (like Sam). Yes, MAB really hated the character. Yes, i love Patty...u really think this crazy stuff is an act? I think i do. A crazy person couldn't have done the things she's done... she's planned herself well in every situation. I know. It's very tough if they will bring Sheila back. Considering, the person shot by Lauren had the stab mark and was definitely Sheila. Kimberlin Brown and Victoria Rowell really will make Y&R good again, they need to come back. I wouldn't care if people like Peter & Michelle (two of the people who threatened to leave) left if they returned. Sarge is boring, so is pointless characters like Sofia. Catherine Bach is now making occasional guest appearances last I heard, so I don't know. Even though Jack is boring I feel Y&R needs him, he's sort of important. I don't know how to explain. I hate Carmine, stupid and stupider as the storyline lingers. Despite my animosity for Phyllis, I need her on Y&R. She's my character I "love to hate". I feel they're bringing in a new storyline involving Sarge/Harmony from years back. Should've done that in like March. It would be nice to have Dru back, it would make the Winters interesting. Never got to see Dru. I want Adam with Chelsea for a little while longer. Hopefully JFP will spice up their storyline. After the whole Joshua Morrow admitting his love for Shick ordeal, maybe there's a reunion ahead, despite comments he made in Soaps in Depth in August about "that ship has sailed..." Really? Well i never see CB. That's weird. In my honest opinion, Jack doesn't bring anything new to the table. Drucilla/Victoria Rowell is just as important; she joined the cast around the same time. She offers humor to a pretty dull city, and like she said, she is "the people" which means she speaks to the audience etc. Really? You didn't? Wow..you really should watch some S/ls of hers. Bringing her back would be amazing; she's the only one who can talk sense into Sharon who is just crazy, and would make the Winters family more interesting. Plus, she's got grandchildren to come back to. Carmine is a pointless character. I love to hate Phyllis. She is such a joke for thinking that her & Nick's relationship is like Nikki & Victor? WTF? Is MAB serious? Sharon/Nick is the next gen. of Niktor. I love the actors but to be 100% honest, both Harmony and Sarge are boring characters and it is nothing to do with their race. In SID he said "for now" the ship has sailed, which is right, but they are ultimately to end up together. Bill Bell's wish is for them to be endgame. Tbh i wonder when the show will end. It's scary/weird to think about it ending, (along with other soaps) because a big part of my life would be over. Also, despite Shick's history, I still have a soft spot for Shadam. They are more Niktor than Shick for me. He's the villain (Victor) who has done all these wrong things and Sharon is(Nikki) the person who keeps going back to him. No, I never saw any of Victoria Rowell as Dru. But I watched the cliff scene on Youtube. As you may or may not know, the first time I ever watched Y&R was in June 2010, and then I watched occasionally until that November when I had no more time. I tried to get back into it in February 2011, but again was forced to stop. However, I was able to start watching it full-time in June 2011, a year after I first started watching. Since then, it feels like I've been watching for many years because I've read all the past storylines and relations between the current characters, despite not seeing many old vets who left before I started. Then, in June 2012, I felt the need to start watching another soap, and chose GH. However, I missed a few weeks and didn't bother catching up, and then I watched for three weeks in August. I feel I should've started watching Days instead of GH, but whatever. Now, I only have time for one soap again, and that's Y&R. Oh okay. Dru and Sharon are my all-time fave Y&R characters. Although i was sad, I must say, the cliff scene was amazing, it gave me chills and i think it is good because it leaves a nice possibility for Dru being alive. Ohh yea i remember you told me. You missed out on Y&R when it was good. Since I'd say 2010 it has changed a lot. Even in 2009, i enjoyed it. But 2007 and before, it was amazing (pre-MAB). I have been watching Y&R since 2000, and the change (descend) in storylines and just writing overall is evident to me, (personally imho). I've watched DOOL since like 1998, i was very young and I was home for 2 months after an accident and watched DOOL everyday with my mum. And I followed the storylines since, but at times it's been on and off. I watched B&B in 2002 for a while and it got boring but i started watching in 2005 when Taylor returned from the dead. I watched GH from 2010 to 2011, idk..I just got bored with it. I watched As The World Turns but was never dedicated to it. I used to watch One Life to Live but it got boring too. But, I was still upset and shocked when One Life to Live and All My Children were canceled. I'm so scared for Soaps.:( —ArreJLover 05:54, 4 October 2012 (UTC)

That's okay. Yup, the Sharon stuff is annoying. I watched AMC and got hooked for a short amount of time...but not really dedicated to it. I liked more to watch old scenes on YouTube, Lol. Thanks for that! Trim, trim, trim. I loosely modeled Victoria's page off of Lily Winters, even though despite that article's vast sources, it's still very messy. Also, I changed the reference next to "Victor Newman (2012)" in Sharon's infobox from citation to an actual note. So now next to "Victor Newman (2012)" it says [note 1] with the same message as before, with the exception of the addition I made because Sharon signed the annulment papers on today's episode. It's fine. I don't like the use of "Note 1" etc in the info-box, It looks bulky. I just adjusted it a bit; but, it wasn't a citation before, and references don't have to be citations/links. Lily's page is okay. The writing/portrayal section just seems to long on Victoria to be honest. It should be split down. I'm so glad Sharon and Victor's (SECOND) marriage is over, Lmao. Omg the show is getting good. Loving the new writers. We are actually seeing Neil, Lily and Devon! WOW! It will take a while but I can't wait for their stories to be on the front burner. What are you thinking? I love how Tucker gave BON to Victor in order for Sharon to be free...proves he does care. Unlike Victor...Victor has been like a father to her for 20yrs and why can't he get her help instead of being so cold. Then again, he told Nikki once that he wanted her to die :S Also, regarding the invalid marriage, most couples don't know their marriage is invalid, Lol, which is why they got married. I also used the "–" dash because "—" stretched over the the next line and looks awkward. I don't feel the need to use the longer dash. I agree. The image of Sarah Aldrich is unsourced in addition so it should be removed. Yes I'm loving Y&R right now. Tucker is scum. Period. Like Devon said, "That's your problem. Good people don't have to try." I wish Stephen Nichols was let go, perhaps instead of Genie Francis or Jennifer Landon. Abby exits October 23, I'm sad, but at the same time we need a break from both Abby and Ashley for a while. If Ashley makes her way back, so should Abby. Any news on why she leaves? And for the Victoria's writing and portrayal section I'm brainstorming some more ideas (that also involve splitting) so I'll let you know about that. And for the dash, per a consensus that took place at the beginning of this year, we have to use the long dash for "to present", even though they both represent present. Sorry. That's just the way it is. For the note, if you're still considering taking Sharon to GA, the reviewer will ask you to change it to a note. Just a thought, but it's fine for now I guess. On a completely different note, I was wondering if you'd do a major trimming of Mackenzie Browning's storyline section. The Sharon images are okay now, thanks. I have an admin friend so it's all good. I've put trying to get Sharon to GA to rest for now. Unless you want to. I'm over Abby tbh...the actress is amazing but the character is annoying and it's time for her to leave..I'm so sad about Genie tho. Per what consensus? big dash doesn't have any difference, just makes things more bulky. I am the one who started using them; before people kept writing "-present". Not too fussed anyway. Umm Sharon's thing is still in a note. For future reference we should just do "a, b, c" instead of "Note 1" "Note 2" etc. I don't think YR wants to cut Tucker. I was only annoyed at him because i don't want him with Sharon. But he is a major player in the business world, which shakes things up...Jack is boring these days, and i love the rivalry forming between Tucker and the Newmans. I wish they let go of Melissa C Egan, to be honest. She is amazing but "Chelsea" doesn't seem good enough of a character for her. And i hate 'Chadam', Lol. I'm glad Jennifer Landon was let go, I hate the character Heather since VB left! By the way if you are planning to expand/change Victoria more, you should add an Under Construction" template. I'll have a look at Mackenzie's page. I'm not too into her character, apart from when she was portrayed by the amazing Ashley Bashioum. Ashley & David Tom are Billy & Mack. They are true love and i miss them! But we've got such a good thing with "Villy". I hope Tom and Bashioum get to work together as Billy and Mac again. And up till last year, I wanted Heather Tom back as Victoria but AH has made it her own and Heather will on B&B for a long time.

P.S. (and others) issue.

By the way, I was also wondering who originated this "(and others)" under casting. It is contradictory to what people look at the info-box for. It's for when they don't wanna read the article/get an overview, and need info in the info-box. I think we need to have a consensus on this. For people like Mackenzie, people know Bashioum in the role more than anybody else, and it doesn't make sense she isn't there. Maybe, the smart way to go (instead of saying "and others" for 4 or more performers, because they could still be notable in the role) would be to only include notable performers who have lasted for longer than a year. Oh, and not include children performers, also. They can just be in casting. For example Sharon; we would remove the other two actresses because they are irrelevant in the role and add (see casting) or (and others). Sorry again for the length. But we need to fix this. Okay, I agree. The "(and others)" thing sorta bothered me but MF said it was mandatory. But I agree that notable portrayers (either past or present) should be listed, and children shouldn't and just be in casting. And no, I don't really feel like taking Sharon to GA right now. Oh, sorry, you started the dash thing? Never knew that. Whatever, it doesn't really matter like you said because they both represent "to present". And yes, listing Monica Potter and Heidi Mark in Sharon's infobox is pointless, they had very brief stints and Sharon Case is basically her originator. As for the WikiProject idea, if you want to you can, I guess. I'll definitely join if one is created. I'll start the new portrayer infobox movement. none of your reasons are valid, I'm very sorry. I'm telling you kindly to please work on spelling and remember to sign your posts with four tildes (~). My reason was: the other image was promotion for her POMP line. Not the character. When a new promo image comes out that is in representation of the character, we'll use that. I'm okay..it's fine, we are all busy. I myself am having a lot of free time during the day but later I have lots to do because I am getting married soon. DAYS is okay, it was better a few months ago. It's just the same-old thing, but, I'm soooo excited about the return of Kristen Blake! I can't wait to see everyone's reactions to her. ED is stunning and amazing in the role. B&B is boring and the same old crap for me. All of this year I haven't really enjoyed it much, neither did I like it much last year. I miss the way it was pre–2010. And i want more Taylor scenes. Sounds fun! Congrats. Ugh, I hate Eileen Davidson as an actress. Idk, I've just never like her. I have vague memories of her as Ashley on Y&R in the 80s and I know she pissed me off! I see Kristen's return as pointless. she's coming back after all these years and I don't see it as crucial to the show. But I love everything else about Days right now. I love Eileen Davidson; I like her better as Kristen than Ashley. It's def not pointless, she is an iconic character and will spice things up. Sure she isn't an integral part of the show but it's awesome to have her back and give J&M more of a storyline. Tbh, right now some Days storylines are annoying and I'm only more excited to watch because of Kristen's return! B&B is a drag! But i still like the visual of it and the actor's performance; storyline-wise, it's been sooo bad lately. Yea! And I'm sick of the fact that they gave Taylor & Ridge's home to Bill & Katie! Ugh. Why can't they just make a new set? Seems so cheap and annoying to me that they would do that! If they were going to give it to someone to live in it should have been someone in the family. Hi Arre - hope you're well. I was wondering if you might know the answer to my question as I haven't gotten any feedback at WP:SOAPS. Is there a list of which shows are/aren't included in the project (maybe List_of_soap_operas)? I ask because I've been cleaning up some of the class ratings and noticed specifically with OC and Twin Peaks the articles vary with inclusion of the soap banner or not. I agree, but it's very difficult to do. All the info in it currently summarizes the article perfectly. It's just a little bit longer than Mariah Carey's though, due to Jenny's extensive amount of attention for her personal life. Hey, I was wondering why at Noah Newman, 2012— was changed to just 2012. I really don't understand. You said because 2012 is present, but that makes no sense to me. However, that was the reason I created year pages from the years 2007 onwards because there were so many character, u know? But it doesn't matter. Hi Arre - I added some notes to the infobox page, but also started a sandbox to test out some bolder changes to the template itself. Let me know what you think! Personally there are things I like and don't like about both boxes... I also feel that there is little chance of us getting everyone on board with using box2, at least right now. I'm hoping if we can get consensus on the major issues to update that would be a step in the right direction. It seems so difficult to reach any consensus at wp:soaps though :/ In terms of box2, my concerns are date of birth/death (consensus was to remove age related fields, no?), classification (only because of the crazy edit wars I've dealt with at GH cast page in terms of recurring vs. regular), "half" relatives (is there a single soap character full-blood related to another? lol jk but you get my point), and also I think it is actually more clutter to split out every family member by male/female. I do like splitting out adoptive/step though, I think that could help a lot of clutter. I doubt we could get everyone to agree to completely get rid of cause/cause of death, but something has to change there it's confusing. True, same here. I always thought that there should be a "partner" parameter, u know? If that person has been living with that person or something...or for gay/lesbians. Personally, because it is fiction, I think it's good to include birth/death (SAROS'd version). I don't believe in the notion that "age doesn't exist in fiction". Yes, it is difficult. People have different thoughts on this. Classification is good as well, IMO. Yes, there are edit wards on cast member articles but once they're sorted it's not a big deal and it's a good thing to clarify. It's easier to split up mother/father sister/brother. Some people have to write (brother),(mother),(father), to clarify. Yes, I think adoptive would be a good thing to add. Sure, I'll take a look but I'm sort of busy right now. It just doesn't need to be formatted that way. Well, you're right about that (born). I'm trying to introduce Template:Infobox soap character 2 into US soaps. That's not really a good argument, as we know how soap article infoboxes usually look. ;) 30em does not split it into two columns. 30em changes the width of the references depending on the viewers screen size. So if someone has a large screen, they will see it in either 3 or 4 columns. But if they have a small one, they could see it in either 1 or 2. I advise you to always do the same. Hi Arre - wondering what your opinion is in situations when character names are initials, in regards to space or no space. I'm really only versed in GH, and am having a discussion here: Talk:A. J. Quartermaine#Requested move, but there aren't many other GH characters to compare. I came across J.T. Hellstrom from Y&R, who looks like a similar situation... Also C.J. Garrison (do you watch B&B?) Re: Characters who've appeared on more then one soap!

I saw your example of the Amber Moore article, and I agree, but my concern is that the series parameter can get a bit cluttered, when it comes a character like Angie Hubbard, or Skye Chandler. I am proposing that we just keep the series from which the character originated, for Skye it would be All My Children, in that series parameter, and have the soaps that the character has also appeared on, that aren't "spin-offs" of the original show, in a completely separate parameter. And I totally agree on your point about the durations/appearances thing; users tend to do that to differentiate between a character's tenure on separate shows; the new parameter I am proposing would allow for the original series to be in the series parameter, and the series that a character has crossed over to (along with the durations) could be featured in this separate parameter as well.--Nk3play2 ^{my buzz} 22:24, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

True, that would be amazing. I've looked at Poppy, it's great. It's hard because Sharon has been on the show for 18yrs, so It's difficult to condense things. Taylor Hayes

Hi, I agree that Taylor was never legally married to Omar, but your other revisions are incorrect. Taylor was married to Ridge from 1992 to 95. Soapcentral: Ridge Forrester Sr. (Married: 1992; divorced: 1995). In 1997 Ridge proposed to Taylor, so they weren't married. In 2009 they planned to wed, but Brooke stopped the wedding by riding in on her horse and Taylor cancelled the wedding (not legalized) . They didn't renew vows, they got married in 2009. Do you remember when Ridge was in jail? Nvm. Okay, thanks I needed to make sure I wasn't crazy ha! That IP gives me trouble every so often, especially with the name of a different character that's been married a few times. I didn't realize until recently that the infobox guidelines say to use the commonname/article name, not the current married name. Do the soap articles you work on do that? Yeah, where it's been getting messy/edit warish is Carly Corinthos. Bensen being maiden name, Corinthos being the common name, then married again and taking last name Jacks (but going by Carly Corinthos Jacks sometimes), and recently divorced from Jacks (but still using the name so far) so you can imagine the number of different changes/opinions. The character article itself is one thing but edit wars in the infobox concerning names of other characters is just too much. Never ending infobox

Any ideas on how we get this to a close? I'm tempted to suggest we keep the "relationships" title of the bottom section, and keep no "character" on the top title bar, and even keep "other relatives" just for the sake of being able to get the other changes made and start moving forward. The only outstanding issue would be romances then. Personally I think there have been more "oppose" votes (both in quantity and quality) but I'm obviously biased. "Romances" - 6 people voted remove or strong remove and 4 voted keep. It should be removed obv. Consensus has been reached I don't see why we should drag this out. You know I'm completely against 'other relatives'. What do you mean keep 'relationships'? With the removal of the 'Romances' field, it's Family. Those changes you made are spot on IMO and I think your sandbox template is ready to use with a few more opinions on the overall info-box. I also like those tests you did in case of cross-overs. I totally agree with you - I just feel like every time we are almost done someone starts nitpicking and "strongly" opposes a word change. I'd rather get the new one going than keep discussing whether "character" should be added or not, you know? So I figured leave those the way they are with box1, only for the sake of moving forward, but I do support your suggestions if you think we can get people on board... idk I'm just annoyed this is turning into such a big deal. Hmm. I just don't see how there isn't going to be crazy edit wars switching back and forth between all three... especially with the removal of IP-loved parameters like romances and other relatives. Not sure how the articles you watch have been recently, but the GH ones I watch have been a mess... once box2 was tested on a couple, another editor started putting it on a ton of them, and just ignored me when I asked them to please hold off for a bit since at that point it was pretty clear we were going to use a version in between. Then a different editor started reverting back to box1 with huge all caps DONT CHANGE THIS TEMPLATE notes practically in every parameter. IMO the way to enforce removal of the info is to change box1... I understand what you're saying though, a bunch of people are probably not commenting and then will complain and get it reverted. If we're going to make box3 I say we move/create it now, or soon, less reason to wait for every single word to get consensus. What do you think we should do next? True, GH have been a mess. I haven't been involved in them a lot. B&B, Days of our Lives and Y&R have all been smooth. Kelly, that isn't unusual. When a change occurs in Wikipedia people will always be wanting to revert it, but we are changing it for the better and must compromise, which is what we have been doing at WP:Soaps. You make a really good point, though. It would make a lot of sense changing box1. Tbh, i still like using box2 because it's what AUS& UK soaps use and it matches that format. Also, myself and other Y&R editors have really gotten use to working with box2 and it's been an extremely smooth transition. I would personally like to keep that info-box 2 for Y&R... but maybe for GH where it's difficult and stuff like that, the changed Ibox 1 can be used. Arre 04:22, 25 November 2012 (UTC)

I've been leaving most the GH pages alone, not feeling like getting into it and knowing the new box was coming. But I think I had higher hopes for a final consensus infobox to use and be able to reference the consensus when implementing it. IMHO we should use this discussion to make one combined box we all use... but that will never happen. Exactly! At this stage I try not to focus on the info-box and more on the text. It's like, US Soaps have enough to work on. We only have 2 GA's as a whole. Only a couple of editors from those soaps have commented. We can't just change everything many would be unhappy. That's why I think it's good (for now) to create a third info-box. Creativity97 and I really thought that integrating Info-box 2 into US Soaps would be good to neutralize things with UK/Australia and it was coming along good. I hope my insight as been okay for you and others, and I haven't been too confusing you. These are reasons I think we should stick with Ibox 2: 1) We've already started integrating them and it would be even more confusing to change again. 2) Takes away 'romances', which is great. 3) it makes every soap the same on Wikipedia. I doubt UK or AUS soaps would change just because a few editors (mostly from US soaps) want a change. Idk..that's just I personally feel. But I'll roll with whatever consensus is reached. We're sort of moving backwards over and over again at the discussions at WP:Soaps. People just don't get that head writers aren't automatically credited as creators. My main problem with box2 is date of birth/death, and I know you have the opposite opinion, but I really feel they go against WP fictional policies and I've rarely, if ever, seen them used in a beneficial way on any of the articles I've been involved with. Same as my comment over there, I think SORAS date blurs fact and fiction, being in the same box as actor durations, etc, and on-screen conflicts with current age of a SORAS'd character. And oooohhhhh the edit wars. And crazy reasoning people come up with to "prove" the date. I also really don't like "half", which was pretty unanimous, or male/female splits. Rain agreed with all those removals from box1, which was why I hoped a combined box could happen, but that would need a whole new convo and prob not going to happen. I do think another change is confusing, but honestly that's why I wish it had been discussed before testing in so many articles. GH is so unstable already and the edit wars really get to me sometimes. I wish all soap characters could be semi page protected. Literally the way I started editing here was one night looking at a character article about something, and seeing an entire fan fiction family mentioned on the article, and going "WTF how do I edit this thing and get that off of here." haha. Anyway, I really thought consensus at wp:soaps was best and would help implement the changes and revert reverts, but now I really don't know what to suggest. But you don't have to use birth/date. It's not too much of a problem. On Y&R articles which always source information about age. It's good to add to the character. I am not a big fan of splitting female/male but it is very organized. Ibox 2 is way better than the standard one, IMO, and still is. Haha Lol! We can't rush things. Don't be frustrated, something will be worked out. Patience is key, Lol. I've been working on an article for a year and it's been nominated for a GA and it is a candidate now..it's talking long but I'm being patient. Consensus at WP:Soaps is not always easy especially if its for changing/altering something. Personally, I feel like I have no more to give to the discussions which aren't going anywhere atm. Try creating a third template & introducing it for now with information from the consensus reached one most aspects of info-boxes. I love the way things are done on UK soap articles... emphasis is put on the actual body of text and not the info-box. I also like the way they have screencap pics for every character which fits guidelines and avoids edit wars over photos, u know? I guess I'm just discouraged, I thought/felt there was more of a guideline than everyone just using the box they feel like. I can delete birth/death all I want, IPs and other editors will just add it back. It was in a lot of articles in the code but didn't show up because the template didn't support it. That wp:tv convo I linked shows how they decided to change the template to remove it or else there would be no way to enforce it. I don't see the point of creating a third box if UK editors and half of US soap editors aren't going to use it. Even changing box1 might be difficult, now that box2 was added to a few characters and ips went crazy adding it to a ton of characters. Y&R is kinda boring right now, but I know it'll pick up. The thing I don't like is that Genevieve was the only character to receive a proper exit. Harmony had been off-screen for weeks and when she reappeared, she only said goodbye to Neil onscreen, not Devon or anyone else. There was just a brief mention afterward. Abby completely just dropped off canvas, and just the other day Kyle said she was in New York with the "East coast Abbotts". Heather basically dropped off canvas too, she left town with Christine and when Christine came back, she just briefly mentions where Heather is at. So, the way I see it, JG is probably just trying to phase out MAB's so-called mistakes. In a way, that's good, but c'mon, some storylines need proper closure. I liked the way they wrote off Gen though. The show just needs a little boost of energy at the moment. I'm sure it'll pick up, or at least I hope. Creativity97 21:22, 29 November 2012 (UTC)

Yes it is soo boring! True, I don't like how Abby was written out. IMO Genevieve should still be there. I don't like the new restaurant...it's so dark and ugly! Also, I'm annoyed at the new regime. They changed things WAY too fast. I feel between now and November last year, 4-5 years have past. I HATE it. They changed some iconic sets (they re-arranged the whole Chancellor mansion, burned down the Newman ranch and Glowarm and replaced it with some dark annoying place, etc) and I'm not happy at all. Per Template:Album infobox it says under the Recorded field Details on when and where the album was recorded should be included, this means that recording studio locations should be included in the infobox if they are known. Hi there (and photo q)

Hi Arre - haven't talked to you in a bit, I hope your move is going smoothly! Or as smoothly as moves can go ;) The rest of the changes have been made to infobox1 if you haven't noticed and want to check them out! I think they'll really clean up the articles and I like that the two boxes are becoming more similar. Anyway, I was looking at some soapnet photos (thanks for your tip on how to search for them, it was driving me crazy every time I ended up on a SN page with no images!) and found a few that Soapnet posted on their facebook site... do you think that's blurring the line of being okay to use or would you think it's okay because it's still soapnet that's releasing it? Also, while I'm asking photo questions, do you know if there are any rules about what the image portrays... i.e. while looking for a new Sam McCall photo I found one where she's pointing a gun, quite in character for her but wasn't sure if it would cause any concern? I think it's good if she's holding a gun. Because she is often involved in action and stuff like that, it's her type of character. I was going to use a gun picture for Sami Brady but didn't end up, I just used a screenshot I found on the web. Also, some personal issues have come up and I won't be moving. It's been postponed. Hi Arre. I saw your sandboxes for individual year pages for the 2000s page, and was wondering if you were planning on publishing them. I think we should try to split it up a bit more first. No I'm not going to publish them anytime soon I don't even think I'm going to publish them. Yes we can split them into their own articles but I really need your help. I've already restored articles for Diego Guittierez and Isabella Braña, do you think you could do a couple? it would be a big help. I find them from google images.. for soapnet pictures, just type in "sn soapnet [character/actor name]" and for those screenshots there are multiple things I type in to get those images. Here are a few: (just copy and paste them into google images)

Help , Daytime Emmys

I was just wondering if you can help with something. I have work on Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series article (I organized it) and I think I've done a great job however I would like to do the same in the other categories (Younger,Supporting,Lead Actor & Supporting, Lead Actress). Before we do the others we have to finish this. There are a few minor errors, can you please fix up (I already did it for 80's/90's) can you please make sure the year, and winner's actor name/character name are not in italics? They aren't meant to be. Also, if we're working on it, I suggest we find sources for the winner of every year to make it as verifiable as possible. Fans might try and change something.
