License tagging for File:Ahli Sanaa.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Ahli Sanaa.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Draft:List of Yemenite flags

Hi @Abo Yemen: You have been here a quite a long time but your acting like a newbie who thinks its ok to move articles that are unsourced, against all consensus into mainspace. As if that is ok. It is not OK and is considered disruptive. That was reviewed as part of WP:NPP process. If you move it back without providing at least two sources (as one source is now considered WP:OR), then I will take to you to admin noticeboard. It is unacceptable to move unsourced article into mainspace once they have been reviwed. scope_creepTalk 18:33, 14 September 2024 (UTC)

If you'd looked there is actually three article in this series that unsourced and they've all be moved by different editors to to draft as they are unsourced. scope_creepTalk 18:37, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
Yeah mb Abo Yemen 18:56, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
The person who moved that article to draftspace didn't provide a reason for doing so. I'll try to find some sources then submit it to AfC. Sorry for my lazy behaviours Abo Yemen 18:54, 14 September 2024 (UTC)

September 2024

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Draft:National Anthem of the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it has been moved to where you can continue to work on it. Please consider using the Article Wizard or the Articles for Creation procedure. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read "Your first article". You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Warm Regards, Miminity (talk) (contribs) 10:17, 8 September 2024 (UTC)

This is not my first article and as far as i am aware stubs exist on wikipedia. Plus there isn't much to say about a national anthem that was basically all music and no lyrics Abo Yemen 10:21, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
I drafted your article because it uses a unreliable sources, I'm confident that this is a notable subject but due to poor quality of the article, I draftify it. Also, about the "First Article", I actually use Twinkle to automate writing sending you this from a template. Warm Regards, Miminity (talk) (contribs) 10:37, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
I've added 3 sources (but in arabic) is it good now? Abo Yemen 11:10, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
Please develop the article more, like adding history, context, etc. Before moving it to mainspace. Warm Regards, Miminity (talk) (contribs) 11:17, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
But, it is good enough. It's just it's too short. I want this article to be developed more. Warm Regards, Miminity (talk) (contribs) 11:18, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
ill try to include a history section tho it would probably be short Abo Yemen 11:30, 8 September 2024 (UTC)

Wrong use of archiving of talk pages

Hi, I note your use of the one-click archiver to move an IP's unsupported assertion and use of talk page as a forum to the archive of Talk:Coffee. The post should simply have been deleted as incorrect or disruptive editing; you could also have issued a templated warning to the IP. It is not appropriate to archive that sort of material. Hope this is clear. Many thanks, Chiswick Chap (talk) 07:37, 21 September 2024 (UTC)

@Chiswick Chap Oh my bad, I archived the entire talk page btw. That comment should've been deleted per WP:NOTAFORUM right? Abo Yemen 07:51, 21 September 2024 (UTC)
Yes. Anyway, no use crying over spilt milk. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 08:07, 21 September 2024 (UTC)

DCWC closing update

The 2024 Developing Countries WikiContest has come to a close! After a thrilling finish to the event with a slew of submissions on the final day, we have our winners. With 608 points,     Thebiguglyalien (submissions) comes in third with his series of Kiribati and Botswanan submissions;     BeanieFan11 (submissions) flies into second place at the last second with 771 points after a string of good articles about sportspersons; and after leading for much of contest's three months,     Generalissima (submissions) finishes with a whopping 798 points to take home the Gold Belt Buckle. Congratulations to our winners!

In addition to his spot in the top three,   BeanieFan11 (submissions) also wins the special awards for submitting under the most countries (44 countries) and for writing the most articles about women (15 Did you know? nominations)!   Magentic Manifestations (submissions), after making 16 submissions under the Indian flag—15 of them good articles—receives the awards for most submissions for a single country and most featured or good articles promoted. For their submission of one FAC review, five FLC reviews, and 20 GAN reviews, Simongraham (submissions) wins for most article reviews.

The results of the contest have far exceeded any expectations the coordinators had for it at the beginning: among the submissions to the event were 3 FAs, 10 FLs, 88 GAs, dozens of article reviews of every kind, and more Did you know? submissions than we can count! Regardless of your level of participation, every contestant can be proud to have contributed towards a major step in countering the systemic bias on Wikipedia. Every year, millions of readers and editors around the globe use Wikipedia to educate themselves and communicate with others about parts of the world that often receive less attention than they deserve. Thank you for participating with us in the contest and contributing to this effort. The DCWC will return next year and we look forward to seeing you contribute again! However, before that...

We need your feedback! Join the conversation on the talk page to discuss your reflections on the contest (even if you didn't participate!) and help us make it better.

If you have any questions, please leave a message on the contest talk page or ask one of the coordinators: Ixtal (talk · contribs), sawyer777 (talk · contribs), or TechnoSquirrel69 (talk · contribs).
