Hello AfghanParatrooper19891! Your additions to Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tanai tribe moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Tanai tribe. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 22:23, 8 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detectedthat when you recently edited Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Republic of Afghanistan. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 05:48, 18 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Early versions of the Afghan emblem

edit

Hi, since you have recently been involved in revising a 1970s emblem, I would like you to help me with 1920s emblems. I have a few different drawings saved, but only a few general changes can be deduced from this. Would you like something done with it, or do you have additional sources? Swiãtopôłk (talk) 19:02, 22 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

I have sources for Amanullah’s emblem. Compiled the images in a Twitter post.

I took what I have in the table

I think it would be better to improve the following:
  1. longer and more pointed star rays
  2. the lines of the floor converge under the mihrab and the pulpit is "lower" in this perspective
  3. replace the swords and hat with those of King Amanullah's flag, but with one large feather instead of 6
  4. equalize the height of the roofs
  5. add three triangles at the top of the mihrab

[1] in this version there is an open book above the swords which is not repeated in other versions, i couldn't find any information about it so don't add book, [2],[3],[4],[5],[6], [7],

  swords and hat

[8], this is not a factual source, but does contain good reproductions of the above

The same changes as above, or is it better to use a drawing from 1928?
A drawing of the mosque as  , but without hat above the arch, the decorations above the cornice and the larger dome under the central towers. The appearance of the twigs varies greatly depending on the version, but it is not oak and olive as above or schematic leaves as currently. [9][10][11][12][13]

The official name was the Kingdom of Afghanistan, I thought? I’ve never heard the country being called the Imperial State of Afghanistan, although I saw it with Iran. If you have sources it would be helpful. AfghanParatrooper19891 (talk) 15:21, 4 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

I wasn’t aware the creator was a sock puppet and I’m not the one who made the article. I saw this article mentioned in the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan article and wanted it to edit it, but thank you for informing me.
