Proposed deletion of Natalia Pavlova

edit

The article Natalia Pavlova has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. The Great Gatsby

edit

Hi, Aftesk. I saw that you cleaned up coverage of Luhrmann's planned film at The Great Gatsby. I created an incubated article for the planned film, which we can move into the mainspace if filming begins. The article can be seen at Wikipedia:Article Incubator/The Great Gatsby (2012 film). In the meantime, I've created The Great Gatsby (2012 film) as a redirect to the novel article's "Film" section. Erik (talk | contribs) 18:28, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Live Competition Edits

edit

Hey there, fellow user! I notice recently that you have done a lot of edits for the 2011 World Junior Figure Skating Championships. It would be more desirable, customarily, if you would experiment and test your edits before you submit them. Also it would be a lot better if you submit your edits at one time rather than row-by-row. Thanks! Geoboe84 (talk) 13:17, 4 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism!

edit

Do not erase sources beacuse you will be reported for vandalism! Some facts are not subject to debate! Be constructive, not destructive!--SeikoEn (talk) 06:00, 12 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Do not accuse me of vandalism. Your additions place undue weight on Vikings. Why a whole paragraph on Vikings while Sarmatians/Scythians are only mentioned in passing? Is there evidence that they had had a greater impact on Ukrainian ethnogenesis than Scythian-Sarmatians? I don't think so, Iranic languages were spoken in Ukraine longer and by more people. Vikings were a smaller part of the population. Also, compare to the "Russians" article. Vikings are mentioned briefly, not a whole paragraph. Why does the Ukrainians article need to spend more time on them? Is there evidence that they had a greater impact on Ukrainian ethnogenesis than they did on Russian ethnogenesis? Aftesk (talk) 07:32, 12 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
    • Maybe because Vikings helped to establish the Kievan Rus' state ... You are eraseing the text and ask questions, and this is not Wikipedia for children ... I am warning you once again: do not erase section about Vikinga or you will be reported for vadalism and probably be blocked! You're not the first! Once again: Be constructive, not destructive!--SeikoEn (talk) 07:20, 13 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
Stop trying to threaten me. My questions are legitimate. Aftesk (talk) 07:50, 13 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

SeikoEn is right, Vikings have importan role in the early formation of Ukrainians and that is fact. He also included some important and relevant sources about same topic ... I think that this is no longer subject to debate! Ukrainophobia is not welcome here! My brothers name is Askold and this name is also of germanic origin ... so please do some constructive work here!--Vitaly N. (talk) 14:57, 13 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

You and your brother's bullying is not going to get you anywhere. Please discuss this issue calmly on the Ukrainians discussion page. Aftesk (talk) 21:39, 13 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Ice Challenge templates

edit

A tag has been placed on Category:Ice Challenge templates indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. plicit 03:10, 9 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
