editHello, I'm Bagumba. Your recent edit to the page Jimmy Butler appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. A contract can't be signed until the July moratorium passes anyways —Bagumba (talk) 02:37, 1 July 2019 (UTC)

editHi Ahurrell61418! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Sports-related curses several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Sports-related curses, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 04:07, 25 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Bagumba I apologize for my informal methods. I only dabble in editing, and I have noticed how experienced you are, so thank you for bringing the correct ways and my mistakes to my attention. I just noticed different people taking down a notable piece (in my opinion and many others), so my instinct was to put it back to the "right" way. I have been leaving messages to those editors to try and resolve, but I guess I should do that and then edit once we agree. Again, sorry and thank you. H-Piece 04:11, 25 September 2022 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Josh Wolf (comedian)—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Learned Lesson H-Piece 05:11, 22 August 2023 (UTC) The reason I made such edits to a comedian’s page was because of a clip on social media that I had watched. It describes a very popular joke, and within the story, there were Wikipedia edits, and the comedian (who the page is about) had mentioned how he loves edits that people make because they are funny. I decided to feed the joke. However, I now realize that what I did potentially spread misinformation and defeats the whole purpose of this online encyclopedia. I will not do it again. This doesn't tell us what edits you intend to make instead. 331dot (talk) 05:37, 22 August 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Please place your request in the edit window, not the smaller section header/edit summary window. I've fixed this for you. 331dot (talk) 05:37, 22 August 2023 (UTC)

Lesson Learned H-Piece 10:14 am, 14 September 2023, Thursday (4 months, 9 days ago) (UTC−4) After many weeks of suspension, I have become fully aware of how my actions were wrong and deserved consequences. The spread of misinformation can be dangerous, even if it was for a joke. I will not do such things again. My main purpose of editing is keeping up with small updates, usually in the sports world. I intend to continue with that line of work and only appropriate adjustments will be made if I am unblocked. H-Piece 10:14 am, 14 September 2023, Thursday (4 months, 9 days ago) (UTC−4)
Accept reason:
- Thank you for the review. However, Wikipedia still says that I am blocked still. Would you be able to help me with that? H-Piece 17:05, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
- Unblocked for real now. Your signature is outside of the realm of acceptable standards. Please change it. - UtherSRG (talk) 17:55, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
