This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Recovery Time (culinary), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Recovery time objective. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 07:32, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
Your contributed article, Recovery Time (culinary)
editHello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Recovery Time (culinary). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Recovery time objective. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Recovery time objective - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Shashwat986 (talk) 07:40, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
About notes you left on IEEE Computer Society page
editHi, I'm a new-ish editor, and I made significant changes to the IEEE Computer Society page to try to make it more accurate, direct, and in accord with Wikipedia guidelines. I'm employed by the CS, so I put a COI note on my User page. I added references and tried to clarify some confusion about when the CS was formed, its relation to IEEE, and its major activities. I also removed a massive list of links that someone had added. Every other month I meet with a "social networking" group to review our presence on various Web media, and I would like to be able to report if I'm on track for getting the notes removed from the CS site, and if not, can you explain how I should proceed? 23:47, 2 August 2010 (UTC)Cecilialw —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cecilialw (talk • contribs)
Just a quick followup here -- it doesn't seem appropriate for the IEEE CS page, but maybe I'm wrong? Anyway, I appreciate your feedback and suggestions. Right now I'm trying to focus on "neutral POV" and getting rid of the flags on the IEEE CS page. I'll review the "no original research" Wikipedia document and add further references in accordance with your style guidelines. I thought I might try to help on the Computing and Computer Science wikiProjects as a way of practicing and contributing as a disinterested party. Meanwhile, thanks again for the feedback and help. Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
editHello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:31, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

The article Nour Hatem Zahra has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Only notable for one incident, does not pass WP:NOTABLE.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 18:24, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
Mass Assignment Vulnerability
editAlistair, I noticed your request for more work on the Mass Assignment Vulnerability article. Are you still interested in this effort? I am new to Ruby on Rails programming, but I am aware of issue and the new Rails default to whitelist attributes. What kinds of research do you expect to be done on this topic? Is it ok to just paraphrase the write-ups in the "References" section, or should there be more details from other published sources?
I'll go ahead and start working on it, but your input and review are much appreciated. Icesword2 (talk) 04:52, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 11
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Heartbleed, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ubuntu (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Deleting this article, Dave's Mom, within days after Mother's day, would be controversial, not only at WP, but possibly in the real world. Please take this to WP:AfD instead, and make sure to inform the Foundation. It would possibly create terrible publicity for us, if this article weas deleted without a debate. The article Representation of People Ordinance has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Article abandoned since 2013 - no references - one sentence referring to something? Searched around and cannot find what this article is even referring to.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Marleeashton (talk) 02:21, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
The article Medea Jonestown has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. She was afairy 09:00, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Medea Jonestown
editAlthough everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing hoaxes, such as Medea Jonestown, is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Jfire (talk) 06:19, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

editPlease do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Medea Jonestown. If you are interested to know how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements already in Wikipedia – and, if possible, correct them. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Continued disruption will be met with sanctions, which could include a block from editing. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. Jfire (talk) 06:20, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. Please provide evidence that the article I created was a hoax. As a long-standing Wikipedia editor, I can assure you that I had no intent to disrupt Wikipedia. Thanks. AlastairIrvine (talk) 14:20, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
